6 weeks 23 hours ago	The urge to drink	has been nagging me all day, but I have very little self control and like to drink at a very respectable pace. I need to avoid being drunk by the time the game starts as I will be watching it in a public place. I tried to take a nap, but that was futile. I cleaned my entire apartment and that passed some time. Now I am just being a junkie for anything about the game.

6 weeks 1 day ago	Nice work	I will forever remember the '97 season. I could tell you what I did for almost every game that year. My dad took us to the State game so I got to see The Interception. We were adding an addition to our house and we had to dig a trench. We had it planned for Sunday after Penn State. It was such a nice day on Saturday that we listened to the second half of the game on the radio, and working with a shovel was never easier. The win over Ohio, then Woodson won the Heisman shortly after the basketball team beat Duke. New Year's Day was awesome. My birthday was one month later so I got totally loaded up on with Michigan National Champs gear. Even got a beach towel that I was able to take with us that summer on a family trip to San Diego. What a season.
6 weeks 3 days ago	My brother and I went in '06	I have been to 3 different Hash Bash's but '06 was a good time for us. On our way into town, we watched a guy wearing a clown suit walking down the street. He walked right up to a fraternity and right in the front door. We were both staring in bewilderment, not realizing the car in front of us had stopped. We rear-ended their Beamer and when we stopped, two very beautiful young ladies stepped out of the vehicle, looked at minimal damage, shrugged their shoulders and left. Needless to say we were both relieved. We got to the parking garage and his car dumped nearly all of his coolant. I think the car was more freaked out than we were. We proceeded to smoke way too much (actually probably just the right amount) and stopped at Hardee's on the way home. I was 19 and still living with my parents and when I got home my dad asked where I had been all day, I proudly proclaimed, "Hash Bash" and went to bed at 8:00.

7 weeks 2 days ago	Two very different things	Burkefest was in the NCAA tourney, to get to a Regional Final, which makes the scale disproportionately larger than a football game in the middle of the conference season. On a national level, Burkefest was huge. To us, as fans of the team, Braylonfest gave us bragging rights over our in-state rival in a game that neither of the two teams fan bases will forget. Ask an average non-Michigan or MSU fan about that game and they may not remember. For me, Braylonfest and the ensuing Sparty Schaedenfreude win out in this battle.
