I went to this game and watched the first three quarters.  Shane started out a little shaky with a pic and some throw that got away from him, but seemed to settle in nicely as DLS pulled away.  Seeing his arm, ball, and feet in person was pretty impressive.  He had a few great medium range sideline lasers throws.

Ditka v. a hurricane, but the hurricane is named Ditka.

Getting settled in Ann Arbor and preparing for grad school.  Also, I got me a job today, so there's that.  Great day so far.

I just picked one up from the ticket office.  I think it's pretty cool.  They still have plenty, but they may not last long as OP wrote.  They also have a mini BigTen schedule with all the teams schedules listed, and a mini Michigan schedule for the taking.

I'm not sure Howard is that much better than Bynum.  He is probably the best big man defender, but his offense is lacking.

I read that a couple times to make sure I didn't misread it, as it seems low for total payback.  Perhaps if funders really like the idea's potential, they plan on increasing financial investment with greater return potential.

Moved to AA today, so unpacking and getting settled while enjoying some Newcastle.

All-conference in tennis during high school, although my team sucked and each school had to have at least one representative.

Another variable to consider - which may skew the offer list data - is how open a player's recruitment may be?  A reason why Shane doesn't have as many big-time offers is likely due to the facts that he was committed early and is U-M all-the-way, so teams that may otherwise have offered him decided there was no point to do so.

I have a going away party tonight, so I will probably be forced to drink a variety and a lot.

Or perhaps he knew they wouldn't be able to land him anyway, and just wanted to save face - they seem to have many non-commitable offers, especially those which U-M lands.

Seems like disciplinary action in line with Hoke's message about the higher standard of being a Michigan Man.

There is still much to play out in Fitz's case and these decision's involve multiple variables, but I think he should be suspended at least one game if the charges are correct.  Michigan should lead the entire NCAA in character and integrity, which I think Hoke did with his corrective actions last years. 

Is our total class still expected to be 24?  I'm wondering if the numbers have changed with everythign going on.

I enjoyed the same last weekend.  It seems like their bottles go down faster than others.

I have seen chatter on 247 Sports about Shaq Wiggins flipping from Georgia to Auburn, which is where I first saw the Foster rumors a few weeks ago.  Wiggins is no Foster, but definitely a solid talent.

A highlight film is just that, but he is wow.

Wow, that is a huge wedding.  The biggest I have been to was about 300.

I think you can buy booze there (and other membership clubs) without a membership because of alcohol regulations, though I may be wrong.

Compiling information on new clients and creating files for them - pretty boring stuff, but it passes the time.

Now big weekend plans.  I actually have to work Saturday afternoon for a special organizational event, which should actually be a good time.

I'm not committed to working and certainly want to maximize my experience at Ford, but would like to have some inflow of income.  That being said, I received a fellowship and scholarship which should cover most of my tuition expenses this year; so, I may just tap into my savings for living expenses and work to obtain a GSI position for my second year if I can't find any promising employment opportunities.

It's nice to hear about your changing policy interests, as I am not decided on sustainable development or fiscal policy.  They currently pique my interest but I know that could change.  I am fairly certain that I want to pursue research and writing, so I am looking into joining the student group that publishes a policy journal.

Being away from heavy quant work for many years has me a bit nervous, but I know I want to have those skills and am ready to dive into the material.

What was your weekly workload?  I want to work part time while in school, but have heard from some that this is difficult with the rigor of the program.

Great, thanks.  This is what I have heard as well - if you do well and keep close contact with Ford's Career Services, you will most likely find placement at a solid position right out of school.

This was a sticking point for me as I have to leave my job (which I like) to go to Ford. 

I was surprised as well that this didn't happen, as he destroyed many lives directly and many more indirectly.  But, he is a sociopath, so the immense pain he inflicted probably doesn't register with him as a human being.

That sounds like a pretty solid vacation, although I would substitute more drinking for weed.
