I expect this defense to improve this year to solid. It will be nice to actually have you know scholarship players for depth this year. I don't expect us to be at the top of the Big Ten rankings but I don't expect us to be at the bottom again this year.
The thought of Denard running the triple option with Hopkins and Smith is insane. We are going to get so many rushing yards this year starting with UConn tomorrow.
We are going to have so much more depth this year which is going to mean so much later in the season. Instead of collapsing like last year the new depth will insure that we win a good amount of November games.
Seeing that it will be Dayne Crist's second career start if we can get any kind of pressure on him we can make them commit some turnovers. We really need that pressure though because Michael Floyd, while very annoying, is a beast.
I think this is mostly his roster though because it's year 3 and the players have learned this system for the majority of their careers. I think that pays really big dividends this year.
I can't wait until they open up huge holes for Denard and the running backs this year. If Molk can stay healthy we are going to have one killer running game.
I'm actually hoping Drew Dileo becomes our punt returner this year. All the other guys on the list have had fumbling problems on punt returns so why not give him a shot? As long as he can just catch the ball I'm good with that.
Excellent article on Rivals today about Boise State and the BCS. If Boise goes undefeated this year and somehow doesn't get invited to the national champoinship game the anti-BCS feeling will go to a all-time high and I think we will have no choice but a playoff.
Well since their UConn they will probably start off by running the ball up the middle, but I fully expect a couple play action passes going deep to test Floyd and Rogers very early.
I wondered what happened to him when Rivals had a article about the prep schools and they were talking about which players were impressing and their was no mention of him. Hopefully he can just re-take his SAT and get in for next year.
Will definitely be tuned in tomorrow to see what they decided on the divisions. If they did end up putting Michigan and Ohio State in seperate divisions it will be a sad day though.
I'm going to be such a nervous wreck Saturday but once I see them run out of the tunnel it's going be pure joy as our Wolverines take down the Huskies.
The guy has so much potential and talent he just needs to start improving his technique and conditioning. We still have Mike Martin at the postion this year but hopefully Will realizes he can start next year and gets himself in shape next year.

It was weird how everything was in food terms but it made the post more funny and I say you did a good job with this.
You can't start threads about one of Denard's arms so close to the game. I almost started flipping out until I read through your whole post.
It suprises me the guy still has a job considering how awful he is.
I say you don't wear the jersey to church. It just looks unprofessional to not dress up when you go to meet a priest.
I'm really surprised he won the appeal so quickly, normally the NCAA takes forever but this just took a couple of days.
I can't wait until tomorrow!!!!, I don't think I'm going to get much sleep at all tonight.
I still say 7 to 8 wins and my most enjoyable wins of the year will be a tie between UConn and Michigan State.
The thought of UConn having two undersized defensive ends trying to go up against our running game make me quite happy for tomorrow.

I can't wait to see him play against UConn tomorrow and see if all the hype is warranted.
That sucks for Junior, still hope he gets to go tomorrow.
That must have been so cool to interview him. That heisman pose is still the background on my computer.
You made me feel even more comfortable for Saturday. Just 3 days away people!!!

They are definitely sleeping on us, but it's ok I'm not stressing it because come Saturday they will know we are back.
Obviously they got it wrong, their's no way we score just 17 points against them.
That's it, no more contact for them until Saturday.
Wow, he's really lucky he suffered no major injuries from that hit.

Can't wait to see how many points we score on those defenses this year.

I feel very good about the defensive line this year. I hope to be like dang watching Mike Martin destroy some Huskies on Saturday.
You should have found some pictures or videos of Martavious Odoms blocking, he had some really good ones last year.
I expect he will be a really good run stuffer this year which is exactly what we will need this Saturday.

Thanks for posting this, it was a really good read.

Seems interesting I guess, I might try to watch a game to see how good it is.
Hope he makes it with the Bears, he always was one of my more favorite players on the team.
Lucky for him that Michigan State is the school for second, third, fourth, and fifth chances.
Lucky for Alabama that they have the best back-up running back in the nation.

What awesome news, we really needed to get him up here to see the stadium re-dedication and the awesome atmosphere it's going to be.
Thank the lord that this was a false rumor... that was one of the worst ideas I've ever heard.
Their is a good amount of them on youtube though, I can never get enough of them. Especially this week considering these days are going by so slow.
I would just have her spend a lot less time with the grandparents and more time with you guys and convince her Michigan is the way to go.
I'm going to be such a nervous wreck Saturday but once I see them run out of the tunnel it's going be pure joy as our Wolverines take down the Huskies.
It's not like we haven't talked this issue to death or anything...
At least we got the worst two previews out of the way.
I'm so excited for this Saturday, these days are going by too slow.
I really hope ABC shows him walking, I know I'm going to be crying in the chair watching it.
Believe me, this year people will know he is the right coach for the job. Can't wait until Saturday!!!

I swear they better show Brock walking out of that tunnel and the stadium re-dedication. Just a couple more days guys...can't wait.
We will still have the highest attendance which is all I care about.
Has to be San Jose State-Alabama. That game will be over when the teams get on the bus leaving the hotel.
