Poor Little Guy

I agree.  My heart goes out to his family.  It really does bring tears to my eyes.  He looks so much like my son at that age.  I can't even begin to imagine the pain that they're going through.  I hope they can rest in the comfort of knowing he isn't suffering any longer.

That's a tough one

He is just a little boy.  I wouldn't get too deep.  Maybe something simple like, "Stay strong and we love you!"

Even the pilot hates TOSU

On my flight today, the pilot told the passengers that he hopes everyone's team wins this weekend, except Ohio State. Lots of cheers from the passengers! Great way to start the day.

This post gave me the opening...

Sorry guys, but this posting give me the chance to say that as a woman on the blog, we have the hottest coaching staff in the NCAA.  So that is my degenerate's post.

True fans support the team no matter what

As most of us on this blog, I would never even imagine sending anything hateful to these kids.  Yes, these are kids.  When I woke up for the millionth time last night, seeing the play over and over again in my head, (like many of us did) what hurt the most was thinking about how the players must feel.  If I hurt this bad, I can't imagine how they're feeling.  Anyone that would send hateful letters, emails, posts to these kids are NOT fans (just a-holes).

Living in Ohio...

Living in Ohio just makes this worse.  Instead of being surrounded by other Michigan fans and all sharing the pain of our losses together, I'm surrounded by people who love to rub it in.  Saturday night, I heard fire works in the distance and I'm 99% sure its because we lost.  Its not the first time that's happened so its more than a coincidence.

I'll never stop being a true Michigan fan but I realize I have to not let a loss ruin my whole week.  I'm still working on that.

Good article

Hold your heads up boys and be proud.  You gave it all and I'm proud of you and proud to be a Michigan fan - ALWAYS.  Go Blue!

Well said

I'm 45 and its been too darn long.  Those two other fan groups can suck it!

Moving to Columbus?

I can't speak for Columbus as I've been living in Cincinnati for 13 years.  But I'd say, yes, move to Ohio.  We need more Michigan fans in this state!  Go Blue and good luck with your choice and hopefully your move.

Mine too

I am honored to share his birthday. A win would make it extra special. Happy Bday Denard!

Going for the fun of it

We are going just to check it out. Don't really care who wins. We are only two hours from Indianapolis though so not a tough ride.

First anger against us in Ohio today

I went to the store today with my husband and 8 year old son today. As usual, we were wearing our Michigan shirts. Lots of dirty looks then the grocery bagger starts giving us crap. We tried to take the high road but I finally couldn't take it. I told him that, "look, the next time Ohio wins, you will still be bagging groceries". He agreed. When we were leaving, my son asked what that was about. I told him, "honey, that's what you call a loser."

Omg

We live in Cincinnati. It feels so good to win. Go Blue!

Oh how I hate Ohio

I hope Penn state wins. Whenever I hear Ohio's band play their God awful songs I just want to poke my ear drums out.

Just ask the Catholic Church...

Just ask the Catholic Church if keeping abuse allegations "in house" and reporting it to your superior is sufficient in the eyes of the courts.  I feel so sad for the victims.  This is a disgusting situation.

Taking your kid to the game

A couple of years ago, I brought my 4 year old son to the game.  We tired him out on the golf course and he slept during the game.   When he did wake up, the guys behind him gave him some gum and made his day.

As you know, it will be crowded and maybe hot in there.  Just make sure to have lots of water.  Kids love when you buy them food and stuff in the game so I wouldn't even think of bringing a sandwich in.  But, then again, your son might only eat PB&J.

Have a great time at the game - Go Blue!

You're right.

I'm wrong.  I didn't see it and that ticks me off because I looked.  I'm just so excited for the season my brain isn't working right.

OT - Ohio Man has sex with Pool Float

I'm sorry, I don't know how to post and original item and I don't remember seeing this already.  So, I'd rather take the chance.  Too good to pass up.

Do all kids like mascots?

My son is 7 and has never wanted to hug a mascot.  Quite frankly, when he was younger, mascots scared him.  Now, he kind of thinks their stupid.  He's a good Michigan Fan!

On that note...

I was leaving COSI (science center in Columbus) with my 7 year old son this Spring.  My van shows my pride for Michigan.  I hear the car next to me beeping the horn like crazy and I'm thinking, here they go again - stupid OSU fans.  Happily I was wrong.  It was two guys showing me their Michigan tattoos!  I told my son, "See Michigan fans are EVERYWHERE!"

Enough Said

I love Jim Brandstatter.  Nice to see he has balls.

Quality OSU fan defined

"He didn't want any harm to come on any players or the university or the program or coach Tressel or anyone," Palmer said. "If he's responsible for anything, it's being a quality Ohio State fan."

Can someone define what a "quality" Ohio State fan is? I dare to see that this statement does.

I'm hungry for some popcorn.

Don't Go!

Unless your company senior managers have a sense of humor.  I am in Ohio too and proudly fly my Michigan flag in my office, on my house, etc.  There is no way I would waste my time.  I couldn't go and get an autograph from this man without gagging.  But, as I stated, if your company has a sense of humor I would go wearing my Michigan hat, shirt, etc and have him sign something but I would keep it light hearted.  My vote - just don't do it.

Pain, Suffering and Humiliation

Anything that causes OSU pain, suffering and humiliation makes me happy.

DB Got Played

Brandon got played like a fiddle.  Wouldn't be surprised that Miles got more money from LSU out of the deal.

Who else feels physically ill from all this?

i even dreamt about all this last night.  Now I'm snapping at my husband and son.  And work?  Looks like another day of getting very little done.  Seriously, my husband was popping Tums last night and my head was killing me.

Hoke

The more I read about Hoke and his love for Michigan, the more I want him.

That video says it all

I'm ready to use that it a work presentation. Unfortunately, I'm in Cincinnati and most people wouldn't appreciate it.

Go daddy

You asked and yes I'm watching. A good friend's son is on Miami's team. Go Redhawks!

I admit it

I too am addicted.  I don't comment on the site much but I almost always have it up when I'm at work.  This addiction leads to my other addiction - drinking too much!

Get a rental car

It's Piqua. Doesn't matter if you're wearing red or blue, it's going to take a while to find someone who can fix your car. Call enterprise and hit the road. Go blue!

Picking on kids

As a Mom that is a huge Michigan fan and lives in Ohio, I completely understand. Wendy took the high road. When your not with your kid it's easy to put some jackass in their place. Better to be a good example to your kid. Of course telling them to go F themselves feels really good too.

Go Blue!

OSU Obnoxious Fan

I live in Ohio and my husband and I are die hard fans.  We get this all the time from sales clerks, strangers on the street, drivers.  What you said is nothing compared to what we hear.  We usually laugh it off and make sure to give them a loud, "Go Blue!"

Thank you for this great

Thank you for this great response. After the crap I have had to hear from my neighbors this week, this makes me smile!

Hostile Territory

Yes, it gets pretty ugly. I live in Cincinnati and for the most part, people are pretty split. Many don't like OSU so therefore like Michigan. But, its funny in a way the hatred that some of our neighbors show us. Though I shouldn't be surprised given the reputation of OSU fans. I grew up in Michigan; have lived on the East Coast for several years as well. I didn't realize how much I hate OSU until I moved here. The worse fans ever!

Who else in OH is hearing the same?

What other Michigan fans are hearing vile crap from OSU fans? There's one thing to "banter" back and forth in good fun but this is ridiculous. Now I know why OSU fans are the most hated!
