It was interesting to say the least. Clearly Harbaugh didn't want to be talking to him.

I liked the first episode. I think it's hard for people to compare season 1 equally to seasons 2. I remember being unsure about season 1 after the first episode and found some aspects equally as confusing and mysterious as I did the first episode of this second season.
I followed the individual stories well, thought they were all interesting in their own way and I like how they left it with them all connected by that (spoiler) dead county official.
It could end up being bad, but I actually like the cast that they picked. Colin Farrell seems like a great "loose nut" kind of guy. Vince Vaughn seems like he could be a great evil character, if that's where they're going with that, and Rachel McAdams, so far, played a great kind of broken person looking for some sort of revenge or to release her anger on someone.
You just can't compare these seasons to one another, especially with the first one being so good. These series seem like a great idea because they're all enclosed in their own little bubble. And if one year isn't as good as another, the next season with an entirely new cast can go the other way.

I tend to look at average star ranking on rivals. The team rankings are basically just who has the most recruits. Outside the top few, the talent doesn't necessarily correspond to the rank.

I'm glad we're picking up recruits, but it's hard to get excited about under-the-radar prospects like this. Maybe he'll turn out, but it's very unlikely that the majority of these two star kids we've picked up over the past two days will amount to much. Maybe one of the three will statistically.

I agree. Addidas tends to be more tight fitting, like a soccer jersey, and I just find Nike shirts more comfortable. I tend to wear my old Nike shirts more than my newer Addidas shirts for that reason. I don't care so much about the "look" of the brand, as some do, rather the fit.

Thirded? Except, expand that to a cabin anywhere along Lake Huron or Michigan. Cabins are usually less well kept than the hotels, but they provide an on-the-beach experience you aren't going to get out of a holiday inn -- campfires on the beach and such. Great fun and one of my favorite vacations.
|8 weeks 3 days ago||Oh, absolutely. But in||
Oh, absolutely. But in academics they do because it's all about attracting talent. Go look at some of the UM administrators, I'd wager that most probably have a degree in something completely unreleated to what they're actually doing or what department they're in.
|8 weeks 3 days ago||Yes, fuck student loans. Out||
Yes, fuck student loans. Out of college you get a job and you're like, "Man, I'm rich!". And then the bill for your loan comes in and you're like, "is that even legal?"
|8 weeks 3 days ago||It's certainly an interesting||
It's certainly an interesting discussion. What is missing is the qualifications said University Administrators today vs. what they used to be. I don't know how it was in the 1960's, but today college administrators tend to be highly educated individuals themselves -- ones with plenty of degrees to hang on the wall and ones who may have even been faculty members at one point. There's this whole recruiting thing that goes on now, trying to get the best names in the department to rank higher compared to the other schools. In tern, getting the better kids to come and spend their money here so the University can brag about their successes after graduation. I think you'd be hard pressed to find simple undergraduate degree holding individuals in Administration positions at UM. And when people get doctorate degrees in things, there's an expectation, especially in academics, that they get paid for well.
Somehow I still don't believe that even high adminstration costs adds up to OOS students paying $40,000 a semester. I mean, think about that. There's like 40,000 UM students and about half or more are OOS students. Even if your average adminstrator makes $120,000 a year, that's only 3 out of state students to pay for that. It just doesn't seem like it's a large enough number to really impact tuition rates as much as it has.

Then there was that time Harbaugh visited the set of Saved by the Bell:
.....oh....wait....that really happened.
I just realized it's odd to do this with Harbaugh because the lines of reality and fiction are blurred by his actions in real life. This is one of the first threads where I went to go put him in a picture, SBTB -- specifically the "I'm so scared Jessie Spano drug episode" -- and realized that he had actually done that before.

They fight in the comics. But it's still stupid. Batman is a guy in a suit. Superman would burn him with his eye lasers and it would be the end of that fight.

This crap should be deleted. Nothing but clickbait. Honestly, who gives a shit what Jim Rome thinks? Let alone about a minor interview and some advice he gave to a player that isn't even ours? The NFL really doesn't give a shit if someone from Publix gave him some crab legs or not.
