It amazes me how his great personality and leadership skills have made it almost taboo for anyone to even talk about his past. There are a lot of missing pieces in that case, and Ray Lewis is a big chunk of the missing story. You cannot deny that, no matter how you feel about him.

Anyways he'll get in. He's one of the greatest players of all time and he deserves it. I don't have a problem with that. But I do have a problem with how the media has put him on a pedestal as some great humanitarian and role model. That, he is not.

Thanks. I completely understand why people aren't high on Navarre. An unknown QB taking over for a big time player like Drew Henson had to be the most frustrating thing ever. Add to that his lack of mobility, knockdowns at the line even though he's 6' 6'', and the tough losses during his career, and you have a very frustrated fanbase.

My friends still make fun of me to this day for saying Navarre is my all time favorite Michigan player. But man, as a 9 or 10 year old kid just getting into Michigan football as a serious fan and seeing Navarre throw that deep ball. It's something special that can never be matched.

I have a question. If a player's helmet comes off during a play, can a team call a timeout so that player can play the very next play? Seems ridiculous that you would have to sit the player for a play even after taking a timeout.

Unfortunately, if you go the ebay route for a Denard autograph right now, you are just feeding the sellers that you are angry about. Just wait until after this season if you are going to buy a Denard autograph. I can guarantee Denard will do an autograph signing with a local memoribila company once the season is over and he is no longer a NCAA athlete. If you look at the past, Hart, Braylon, Woodson, ect. all did signings after their last season ended and before the draft. Usually guys who enter the draft will have at least one signing in the area, and promoters will know the high demand for Denard in the area. Also, the prices at a signing will most likely be cheaper than what you see on ebay for real Denard autographs. The supply of Denard autographs out there is pretty low. That would change once he does autograph signings

Easy solution. Sell tickets to this. It doesn't have to be a bunch of money ($5 or $10). That way you limit the amount of people inside the stadium and the athletic department could make a few extra bucks. It almost makes too much sense...

I love that your tribute videos don't have music. Hearing the original broadcast is a great part of the videos and you can feel how big the plays are by the commentators/fans reactions. 

I think the rotation is fine if they can stay healthy. Getting another starter will not solve the lineup's issues. The corner outfielders have been killing the team so far this season. Boesch and Young look terrible in the field and at the plate. These are positions that should be producing at the plate. Both have NO plate discipline at all and are really worthless. Dirks should really be playing more.

At this point, I wouldn't worry about second base. I don't see any option out there that will greatly improve that situation. They should just put Worth in there so they at least have a decent glove. Just don't bat him second in the lineup (WTF?!?). I think the Tigers can survive without a good second basemen, but they can't survive if 2/3 of the outfield is playing so poorly.

It will be hard next year to see the Wings without Lidstrom at the blue line. I was hoping that he would still be with the team for that game at the Big House, but I can't blame him for retiring. Hopefully Holland makes the much needed big moves the team needs, especially now that there is quite a bit cap space.

I would love to see Datsyuk take over as captain, but the whole language issue probably will be the reason why Zetterberg will get the C. Nothing against Zetterberg, but Datsyuk just seems to fit that type of player that Yzerman and Lidstrom were. Quiet players who excelled in every part of the game and were workhorses. 

RIP. I always enjoyed listening to him, and not just about boxing. He knew a lot about baseball too.

Seriously, I agree completely. People feel like this taking out one guy will solve everything over there, when in fact it will really solve nothing.

It was pretty scary when Vorachek's arms went straight up in the air after the hit. That's not a good sign. 

Nevertheless, it was a clean play. Kronwall did make contact with Vorachek's head, but that doesn't mean that the hit was purposely directed toward the head. Vorachek looked back down at the puck because he thought Kronwall was going back, but that's exactly how you get Kronwalled. The guy is so good at faking going back, which leads to the puck carrier to look back down, and then wham. The majority of his big time hits are the results of a careless puck handler. Keep your head up!
