That hit made me mad in the moment. More mad that the play wasn't reviewed and even replayed by NBC (expected), but after watching it 50+ times today. It was clean, just devastatingly hard though. It was shoulder to shoulder/chest.
I'm more disappointed that we can still eject people who hit a guy in the head when he's falling to the ground ala Metellus. It seems like these refs think the players are playing in slow motion and can control themselves in an instance immediately.

Championship Games are always sad for me, cuz I know that as soon as it's over, it's the furthest point we can be from that sport coming back to our viewing pleasure. I don't want to watch this game, but I will. I can't help it, I love sports.....

I like em all. The Road Whites are pretty nice. The Alternate is a good 1-Time wear IMO. The Home ones look pretty cool too.
That being said. I don't believe the Home jersey's sould be changed EVER, for any reason. No matter how awesome it may look, that tradition is here to stay. Road Whites can be changed to this. No tradition points lost. The Alternate could work, but only if it's in a game where the other team is also doing a crazy alternate too, and commemerating something.
There's no way I would want to end the losing streak to OSU by beating a team missing it's top players. If they go Pro, that's different. I want to beat them at their best, any injuries aside cuz that's part of the game. Also, the NCAA is going way overboard with this ala AJ Green. Even though it seems the NCAA makes up it's punishments as it goes, rules are rules. And those rules were in place and these players already knew the consequences for what they were doing.
Is it a coincidence that Kevin McReynolds training video uses the same track as the 2010 hype video ?? It could be a sing from God. Please God, let that be a sign.
