I haven't been on the board lately but I can't believe this is where you guys are leaning? It wasn't mostly JH trying desperately to jump ship? It wasn't Gattis giving the double bird on his way out? It wasn't us losing our DC as well? This is so much more about JH and our rivals floating to recruits that he's going back to the NFL, then straight up does what they said he would do. He's proven he's only one foot in the door.
It's no different than if he opted out after the end of last season (being a junior). OP is correct, they have missed at corner and a DT depth for about 3 years now and it will show.

However, there's a reason BPONE exists and it's for fans like myself that have never seen Michigan play in a BCS National Championship, a College Football Playoff, a Big Ten Championship game, lost 14 of it's last 15 games to Ohio State and got demolished in it's last outing.
Now I'm not this negative going into The Game and I'm going to scream like crazy at the TV cheering our boys on. It's just tough to put that all to rest when you grew up on the above results. It's not unreasonable for Brian and the guys to look at the game this way at all. Ohio State is just unfortunately a Juggernaut this year.
I'm not worried about the corners vs teams like the bottom of the Big 10, just worried about top tier teams like Ohio State, you need athletes to deal with their players in space. Don't get me started if we beat them, the type of talent you're facing is potentially another beat down like last year's but on an even bigger national stage
Agreed 100%, also the lack of recruiting at TE/OL has finally caught up with us when we play the more elite teams. Harbaugh needs to relinquish his "Run or pass" play calling duties and start abiding by modern day play calling which is take what the defense is giving you. Don't run into 8-9 man boxes on first down only to run the most obvious under center play action pass on second down when you're playing from behind. I know it's anecdotal but it was a very unimaginative game plan. Jim could run his offense the way he wanted if he recruited like Georgia or Bama, but he doesn't recruit that way on offense, only on defense. When we do get great skill position players, like we have in our WR Corp. We throw to McCurry?? Or are running 3 TE sets!? I just don't get it
Yes, and O'Korn was also in the game vs Rutgers as well and you can see how that was going. Obviously the difference was simply be able to make the most basic of throws which John was unable to make consistently.
It's also the demographic it brings in as well. Tough to argue with a lot of esports numbers in the past 5 years. However, LoL should probably just stick to twitch, the numbers are going to be abysmal, if it isn't a pro final for CS/LoL/DotA

I don't mind reading boards but sifting through piles of crap is a chore just to find a decent comment. I'm sure there are a lot of lurkers here and would help the board, the only downside being hivemind upvote/downvote.
Yeah, except for his pro day work out where the GM specifically mentions surprising arm strength. Anyone with 20/20 can see the difference between this year and last year's arm strength
