eh

I doubt it was a scam. Afterall, the creator of the Kickstarter ended up hosting an event for Jon Falk and at least one backer has received their jug.

It's worth noting that in the "Risk and challenges" section of the project, they say the following:

"Backers at the Red Wing jug levels (#5 and #6) should realize that hand-made Red Wing stoneware pieces are highly collectible and production is limited. Red Wing will do what they can to keep up with demand, but the kiln can only turn out so many pieces a month. If demand skyrockets, delivery of these custom jugs may stretch into the spring...or beyond. Rest assured that if it does, we'll keep you informed as to your place in line and the ETA on your jug."

ditto

I'm expecting a 1 gallon jug replica, but I haven't recieved it yet. I tried contacting MGoPatio through Kickstarter and Twitter, but I never heard back from him. I don't care if it got delayed, that'll happen, but it'd be nice to at least be given a status update.

Another Shameless Plug

I created a Chrome extension that allows you to help make MGoBlog money. It's available here and it's called Philanthropist. Since MGoBlog participates in the Amazon Associates program, you can use the extension to make sure MGoBlog gets some kickback for any purchase you make on Amazon. Just install it and configure it to use mgoblog-20 as the associate id.

For more information about the extension, check out the splash page.

And yes, I feel like a dick for this being my first post, but I've been a long-time lurker and I thought the MGoBlog community might be interested in this as it's an easy way to support the blog.
