How is Rhett Bomar of OU not in the QB slot?? That's stupid that a kid that never played a down of college ball is on this list |
5 years 39 weeks ago | You know, analysts have a lot |
You know, analysts have a lot to knock on his game despite his #1 ranking. They knock on his inconsistent and lack of confidence in his coverage skills and his utter lack of aggression for contact and poor tackling skills. Maybe it's because he's been looked at so extensively but I've never seen a top ten recruit with so much knocking on him. |
5 years 42 weeks ago | Playin Hard |
So far the American Samoa team has been playing very hard and fast and has kept it as competitive as possible. 20-6 at the half. They're fearless against the US. It's moreso technique where they're getting beat. They are smaller and are less athletically inclined but they're truly not playing like it. The U.S. took the first kick back for a TD, and it wasn't because they were outdone. It was blown assignments and a gaping hole in the middle. Penalties is another reason why theyre behind. Otherwise they've been playing just as hard and they pursue on defense. Their RB is a tough north-south runner thats putting the US defense on their butts every now and again.
Having said that. LTT is playing very, very well. He's already had a few pancakes and is doing phenomenal on pass pro. I'd say he's been doing better than Pocic and Biven. He's consistently sealing off and the RB has got major yards behind him. I can see why he struggled in camp, he's purely a pads player. He doesn't use his hands as much as he uses his athleticism to get in to place and then just lays his entire frame on you until you cant move around him. He'll have to use his hands more on the next level, but he'll be ok with that. His potential is on full display here. |
5 years 43 weeks ago | Before you pass judgement |
Before you pass judgement look up his film. This kid is a rare talent and is physically ready. Only way to go is up for this kid. I for one am glad we got on him early. He's a lifelong Michigan fan who idolizes Mike hart. No reason to not try and land a probable future 5 star early on. |

5 years 44 weeks ago | I havent seen him play, but I |
I havent seen him play, but I can't imagine him being "not very good". The kid won state as a freshman, and everything I read made it seem as if the offense rested on his shoulders. RJS never seemed to put up big numbers on the ground so I can see the truth in that. If he can champion a state title team as a frosh then he's good enoug for me ( like that matters ). I'm just sayin, what a foundation to build upon with 3 more seasons to build upon. I hope will her keeps grooming this kid because he could be an top tier 5 star recruit by his sr year. An Alabama offer already? Home should offer just based on principle. Cass should get the title again easily. The team is more diverse talent/position wise this year. How crazy would it be if LTT had been able to transfer. |
5 years 45 weeks ago | Ouch |
Ouch. The harsh truth. |
5 years 45 weeks ago | Good guess |
This is a good guess. I didn't even think of him. He did say he couldn't commit until hes a junior. Technically, schools over for the year and he completed the year so now he's considered a junior as far as the public school system is concerned. |
5 years 45 weeks ago | Are you kidding |
Why do people think he's just kidding whenever he says this? It's stupid. The last two times he said this people said the same thing and BOOM there were actual commits. He nor none of the other recruits have ever joked about there being a impending commitment. That's not even a funny joke, wheres the humor in that? Who's the joke upon? Recruits have been wrong but at least we've always known that they were based in reality. Of a commit has ever joked about this please prove me wrong. |
5 years 46 weeks ago | Unlikely |
That seems a little unlikely. We haven't had many recruits just mess with the fan base, if at all. We've only see them think they have a commit and the pull a Garnett |
5 years 46 weeks ago | It only makes sense that |
It only makes sense that itd be Treadwell or Poggi. Anyone else would be kind of out of nowhere |
5 years 46 weeks ago | They should |
It should be about the local jurisdiction and what the punishment is their. Pot is noo big deal. I'd rather have my players in their dorms smoking J's and eating brownies while playing madden and ordering pizza on a saturday night than out binge drinking. As we've seen (with Big Will etc.) alcohol and minors lead to bad things. I'm especially a personal advocate of mixing the two. It seems to keep one from going overboard on the drunkeness and keeps you from raging and getting in to trouble. |
5 years 46 weeks ago | Let's not get too cocky yet |
Lets not get too cocky. It's a long way till signing day. He could easily get a case of the "too far from homes" before putting pen to paper and end up at OSU or Illinois. Hell, maybe if we miss out on some "best availables we might end up flipping him with a last second effort. Who knows? |
5 years 47 weeks ago | Truly Despicable |
This is absolutely horrid. Woman like this are the reason that sex crimes are so difficult to deal with. What type of person puts a man through 6 years of prison and ruins his life just to avoid dealing with a bad sexual experience. |
5 years 48 weeks ago | Very True |
Very true. I enjoyed the light-hearted yet spirited debate Magnus. Ur a classy guy. Some others on here should adopt your approach to disagreeing. |
5 years 48 weeks ago | I can't speak to.... |
I can't speak to why his coach used him in a 4-3 vs a 3-4. I'll concede to you that it's puzzling and most coaches put their best 3 or 4 on the line at that level. If you look at his highlights I just don't see any glaring weaknesses, no more than any other WDE recruit. Basically from his film I can't see any reason they'd bench him. He looks good vs the run, and the pass of course. I guess that's for the coaches to know and us to find out. |
5 years 48 weeks ago | I understand that |
I understand that point, however, the evidence points to him telling the truth of the matter. As I stated above, situational players/bench players don't amass 7 minutes of quality highlights in one season. If you can show me any other player who came off the bench and achieved that fete then I'll believe the rumors. |

5 years 48 weeks ago | Additionally |
I know if I were a recruit, I'd be pissed if people (including my own fanbase) kept perpetuating misinformation about me and my abilities to see the field in High School. |
5 years 48 weeks ago | Good point but.... |
Good point Mr. Magnus. However, it seems like you missed where i said that Taco himself and several other sources refute this point of him not being a "starter" |
5 years 48 weeks ago | Tired of the non-starter talk |
I hate that people are still calling Taco "not a starter" last year. Its much more complicated than that to be honest. He himself on his own twitter refuted that claim a while ago. The whole Non-Starter thing is Ohio State BS that needs to stop over here. He complained about people saying that about him. Think about it. The kid is damn good. There's 4 guys on the D-Line. Pickerington is not exactly a powerhouse in Ohio and you really think there were 4 guys better than him? Hell no. If you don't believe me, go to the Ohio Recruiting site and check out his film. Its almost 7 mins long where he's defending against the run AND the pass. Do you really think a true non-starter could amass 7 minutes of highlights in one season of football?? He makes A LOT of plays throughout the film and isn't overly lacking in any part of his game, at least no more than any other recruit. The whole "non-starting" thing is a rumor gone amok, being perpetuated by Ohio. Pass it on |
5 years 51 weeks ago | The Diggs Collision |
Ever since the Army AA game I've been trying off and on to find some highlight tapes that show the Pipkins pursuit and immediate wreckage of Diggs. This article is the first I've seen photos of it, but I want video. Pipkins has like 0 film anywhere to be seen! How am I going to wait all the way till august to see him with my own eyes? If you know where I can see some AA highlights of him, especially "The Diggs Collision", itd be greatly appreciated |

Senseless crime, electronic payment is so easy to trace |
6 years 5 weeks ago | Shared Carries |
And he achieved that while sharing carries with a fellow RB teammate who's headed to Northwestern |
6 years 6 weeks ago | Perspective |
Based on Aquamans comment, I think I'd rather have Ty wait it out. If he commits now, I could totally see him re-opening his recruiting down the line. Not because i think anything negative of him, but I just know that if he commits the other programs will probably come at him even harder knowing he was just caught up in the rapture of commitapalooza. This is one guy that I'd rather have take his time and truly feel good that Michigan is for him |
6 years 6 weeks ago | Cant Understand Twitter |
Can anyone simplify the twitter back-and-forth for me. I'm looking at this jumble of sh*t people call twitter and I cant understand how Farrell was put in his place and by whom. (I am 23 btw, is that sad?) |

6 years 6 weeks ago | David Brandon |
I think the majority of the credit should go to David Brandon. Hoke has always been Brady Hoke, that's what we love about him now. He came in just being himself. Brandon is the one who had the vision of what we could and should be, and he hired the people and put the pieces in place that have led to this resurgance. Don't get me wrong, Hoke is the man. He deserves all the credit he deserves. You just have to remember that without David Brandon, there is no Brady Hoke. Brandon knew that Hoke was "the one" when the general opinion was that he would be a downgrade. |
6 years 6 weeks ago | I'd Guess |
I'd Guess Either Isaac or Levenberry. Probably Isaac. From the tweet it seems like it's someone they're surprised is dropping right now. Gedeon and/or McCray were both to be expected. |
