Gordon Heyward was a 1st round pick and league player of the year. Mack was another all league player.
Then WSU had Early (1st round) , Fred V (preseason AA), and Ron Baker.
Both those teams had stars during their success.
|3 days 5 hours ago||a more recent comparison||
i see Peppers playing the same role for M that Morgan Burnett played for us, and continues to play in GB.
|1 week 23 hours ago||im not sure about that||
pretty sure the starter at RB for the next 3 years hasnt played a down yet for M.
|1 week 4 days ago||surprise?||
they have won like 22 games in the past 2 years lol
|2 weeks 3 days ago||so why would we want him?||
|2 weeks 4 days ago||nope||
so when Wisconsin wins the Big10 without a title game?
you wouldnt have liked to have seen M get another shot at Wisconsin in 99 or Purdue in 00? the way they were playing at the end of the year?
|3 weeks 3 days ago||Butch Jones||
i think you may be judging him a little prematurely after his second season. but i guess thats not surprising given that the last 2 M coaches got the same treatment.
|4 weeks 3 days ago||lol||
are you saying it worked like that before? the previous staff started a true FR at LT. Id say competitions were on lol
|9 weeks 2 days ago||jamal crawford||
he probably belongs there, even if he didnt have the chance to show us why.
|10 weeks 46 min ago||lol||
why does michigan need a specific scheme?
|11 weeks 2 days ago||who called him that? lmao||
they are not even close to the same player. KD was a monster rebounding college 4, and is a big inside-out 3 in the NBA.
|11 weeks 2 days ago||UM is way past 2nd rd territory||
Caris Levert and a bunch of top 100 recruits at varying stages of development = sweet 16 expectations.
a second round exit with this staff and talent level would be a disappointment. not an NIT-level disappointment, but also not what this group is capable of.
|11 weeks 3 days ago||stop saying "the hood"||
every time its been done in here, the poster has looked like a moron.
what you guys keep calling "the hood" is full of real people. do better.
|11 weeks 5 days ago||its gotten pretty old||
even some of the other staff guys do it on occasion. Brian's slang gets run into the ground to the point that im not sure the people who use it are capable of original thought.
|11 weeks 6 days ago||a guy that makes great hires?||
yeah, sounds awful
|11 weeks 6 days ago||yeah god forbid||
an explosive offense and major bowl games sounds terrible
|11 weeks 6 days ago||that reason is Tommy Bowden||
|12 weeks 6 days ago||Bobby Petrino? lol||
he left his team with 3 games left in the season
|13 weeks 3 days ago||the 5th visit wont be us(GT)||
he's seen Tech a bunch of times. bet it comes down to UM and UNC for that visit
|13 weeks 3 days ago||^^^ Fred Jackson||
|14 weeks 1 day ago||questionable is generous||
Re: Green's vision
|15 weeks 6 hours ago||lol wut?||
the QB had 500 total yards of offense against ND and UM scored 4 touchdowns against Wisconsin. cmon.
|15 weeks 4 days ago||that will be the end of the playoff||
if a B1G team is left out with a record equal to or better than an SEC team that didnt win its conference, the playoff wont have a very long lifespan.
|15 weeks 4 days ago||ctrl+f "awful"||
nope. didnt say that, or anything like it. in fact I myself have hit and been hit like that before. That doesnt mean its not poor technique and needlessly dangerous.
But keep on putting words into my posts and arguing against those. You'll probably win.
|15 weeks 4 days ago||which textbook is that?||
because Tom Mach taught us to rip through the shoulder, and UM's high school technique camp reinforced it.
|15 weeks 4 days ago||the other guy id guess||
at full arm extension he snatched it away from someone with better position
|15 weeks 4 days ago||that instinct has to be broken||
if that means actively trying to avoid his chin, then so be it
|15 weeks 4 days ago||no there isnt||
its been recently discovered that pee wee football hits generates enough force to cause neural dysfunction. chins dont get stronger.
|15 weeks 4 days ago||strongly disagree||
those are just the silent hits that dont draw attention because they dont happen to skill position players. if Ross cant make the play without doing that, then he is beat and better luck next time.
|15 weeks 4 days ago||thought on that Ross play||
he buried the crown of his helmet into the OL's chin. that isnt proper technique and anyone with strong feelings about the hit Shane Morris took shouldn't be celebrating that. those are the kind of plays that happen all the time in every game, and are the reason why protecting QBs and receivers wont make the game safer.
