I think Pompeii is their best I think Pompeii is their best hoppy beer but I have had almost all of the pales and most are pretty mild (I'd prefer more flavor). I am living in Sioux Falls currently and TG is one of the better beers we get there.

I am guessing our palates are

I am guessing our palates are pretty similar when it comes to IPAs given the beers you have listed now and in the past in drinking threads (PtE was honestly underwhelming to me given the hype, I truly like Sucks better).  Unfortunately, there aren't many bottled beers from MI that fulfill that criteria as our breweries tend to be a bit more malt forward outside of the taproom one offs and smaller breweries that don't distribute.  One I would definitely recommend (although it is an APA) is Odd Side Citra Pale from Grand Haven, MI.

None of those beers are

None of those beers are available outside of VT unless you are willing to trade with people who travel there or live there (BA and r/beertrade), I was listing my favorite VT beers because he mentioned it as a great beer state and I did a beercation there last summer.  What time in the summer do you usually come?

Ohio actually has some world

Ohio actually has some world class breweries.  Don't sell the state's beer scene short because its sports fans are a bunch of cooler poopers.

Yeah, I am well aware of BA

Yeah, I am well aware of BA and BeerFly.  I often use it and r/beer to find out where to go when I am traveling.  I would love to make it out to California for a beercation sometime but I would need at least 2 weeks to make it from SoCal to Norcal (your state is too damn big, VT made things easy) and try all the breweries I want to try.  I had a long post typed up for you and decided to delete it, but in my beer drinking lifetime I have visited over 100 breweries and in the past year alone I tried 400+ unique beers.  I havent been through a state where I was unable to find beer or breweries I really liked and this includes states like IA (Toppling Goliath) and SD (Crow Peak).  You should be more open to beer from other places, if you only drink SoCal beer you are missing out big time.

If you are feeling rich, this

If you are feeling rich, this is the best mass produced GF IPA I have had (both the main IPA and IPA #2):

They ship but get out your Amex Black.

I was going to say, I have

I was going to say, I have had a few of the easier to source "top" Cali IPAs (PtE, Blind Pig, Sculpin, Union Jack, and Alesmith IPA)  and none of them touched Double Sunshine, Susan, Abner, or Heady Topper for me and I prefer the same dry/unbalanced "West Coast" IPAs that I am guessing she does.

I am drinking a FFF Immutable Darkness because that term is synonymous with my 2013 experience.

I started the night with a GLBC Nosferatu and 2 Green Flash Palate Wreckers.  I may finish the night with a Barrel Aged Alpha Klaus with Orange Peel depending on how the FB team is doing.

How many points did we score

How many points did we score in that game?  How many total yards did we have?  Did we have a negative rushing total?  Did our defense and special teams consistently put our offense in a position to succeed?  What was Mississippi State's defense ranked that year?

Clarex works very well at

Clarex works very well at reducing gluten to FDA mandated "safe" levels for people with Gluten Intolerance (all Omission is tested at <20ppm, which is the standard from the Codex Alimentarius) but "safe" is hit or miss depending on the severity of your disease d/t the fact that it uses an enzymatic process to break down the protein chains in gluten.  It doesn't omit (like sorghum based beers) or remove the gluten altogether.  The Harvester Beers are Sorghum and Chesnut based which will always add a certain twang (drink a Bards to get a face full of the twang, worst beer EVAR) but they hide it enough for me to genuinely like them.  If you are a very brittle celiac, I would tend to stick with the ANZAC definitions for gluten free and stay away from any enzymatically reduced beers.

Greens Tripel is good.  The

Greens Tripel is good.  The Omission series by Widmer are passable (they use Clarex like Damm Daura).  Thus far the best I have found for my buddy who is gluten intolerant are from Harvester Brewing in OR (they have 2 IPAs), I would drink them without hesitation and I am not gluten intolerant.  They ship, but have your Amex Black ready.

I recommend Rodenbach Grand I recommend Rodenbach Grand Cru to people who want to experiment with sours (it is mild, relatively affordable, and easily acquired unlike Cantillon or Russian River) but my guess is that if Monk's was too sour it might just not be a good beer style for him. It took me a long time to appreciate sours and I still have to be in the right mood.

B.O.R.I.S is excellent,

B.O.R.I.S is excellent, definitely one of the better RISs I have had.  The oatmeal adds a bit of a different flavor, almost salty, to it.  I got it for $9.99 for a bomber which isn't terrible for an RIS.  I pay $16 for a 4 pack of Ten Fidy and around that for Founders Imperial Stout as well.  I will definitely get B.O.R.I.S again since I only bought 2 bottles this time and one is to lay down for a year.
