Backups have been in since the first. Shae hasn’t kept it once. This is by design to limit injuries and to get depth some playing time. Who gives two flying Fs how badly we beat rutger? Does anyone honestly believe that’s what’s going to keep us out of the playoffs? Stay healthy. Beat Ohio. End of story.
I don't necessarily disagree with this. I feel like its hard to make conjectures about Peters with how poor of an Oline he had to play behind last year. I am excited to see what he can do with a sturdy pocket.
Not only do they have to recruit against us, they have to compete for those "diamond in the rough" types against an up and coming Nebraska, Minnesota, Purdue, etc. They haven't had that level of competition for those recruits in the past decade but the cupboard is quickly getting bare.

Funny how the mind can create a black hole for the sole purpose of forgetting times like this. I was a Michigan fan my whole life and was never fortunate enough to make it to a game prior to my freshman year in AA. The day finally arrived, we were preseason AP #5 and many were picking us to win it all that year. I remember walking to the stadium, shoulder to shoulder with other maize clad students filled with excitement for my first game!
That day was 9/1/07.
As many of you remember, the years following that would bring me to my senior year and graduation were nothing short of soul crushing. To be honest, it really makes me appreciate the era we are in now with Michigan football. I know we have had a rough couple of years against our rivals but at least we are in every game. I mean, I remember looking at the schedule back then and wondering how badly we were going to get beat and whether or not I wanted to stand in an ice storm to be humiliated game after game.
Its good to be back in a time period where the expectation level is Big Ten Champs.
Its been mentioned before, but is there anyway to track IP addresses to each user name on 3.0? Seems like that would be a quick fix to getting rid of multiple accounts.
