I was born and raised on Maui. My dad worked from the cable company (he's from Tennessee). His best friend at work was uncle Bobby, who was from Detriot.
My dad doesn't like sports at all, so my uncle Bobby tried his best to make me like everything Detroit/Michigan: Pistons, Tigers, Lions, etc. They only thing that I really took to was the Wolverines. It helped that at the time Desmond Howard & Elvis Grbac were torching the Fightin Irish. Shortly after that the Fab Five was changing the entire basketball culture of the NCAA. It was love at first siight for me.
Uncle Bobby went home for a class reunion and reunited with his HS sweet heart. He brought her back to Maui where they had a son and were expecting a daughter. Sadly, he died of a massive heart attack while on lunch break sitting in his work truck; my dad was the first to find him.
His wife had to take the kids, both born and unborn, back to Michigan so she could have family around to help raise them.
Last summer she reached out to me and sent me a care package for me and my family. In it, was Uncle Bobby's old Michigan football. It's not anything special, just one of those balls youi get at the fair after shooting a regulation basketball into a undersized hoop. But it was his, and now it's mine. I held it and had it with me during every game last season, and the best part is that my daughter loves it and sleeps with it in her bed every night.
Those with playstation Vue (I just got it a couple of months ago), how do you account for games going over their alloted time slot when recording them? Do you just add the show following the game to your "my shows" list as well?
Also, for Michigan games on ABC, is there a way to record those for future consumption as well?
About 4 years ago I was 234 pounds at 5'11" (not a good 234). I had to fix my diet & got rededicated to lifting. Within a year I was 190 and in another 6 months I was 174 and you could see my abs on a good day. Since then, I’ve gotten as high as 198 during the winter but have been able to get back into the 170’s by the time summer came around.
These past few years the summer cycle down to the 170’s have consisted of using super-sets in order to get a cardio element into my weight training as opposed to running or using the stationary bike. For instance yesterday was back & shoulders, sets consisted of:
Had my bachelor party @ MB, wife had her bachelorette party there too. We had one joint party night, then separate party nights the next night. We chose Senor Frogs for the joint night, and my wife to-be ended up puking off to the side of the building.
Now, every time we go to Broadway I make sure to point out the exact alley in which she lost her lunch. . . good times!
My dad lives there so we drive down at least once every other weekend. I was actually there last year when Brad Hawkins committed. Driving down next Thursday night to spend Friday through Sunday and drive back Monday.
I stick by my theory that Jaime kills Cersei. Perhaps she plans to unleash wildfire, but in an ironic twist Jaime has to kill her to save Kings Landing in the same manner that he killed the Mad King. Thus, the prophecy of Maggie the Frog comes true and Cersei is killed by her younger brother; just not the one she always thought would kill her.
The fortuneteller said that her younger brother will kill her. Obviously she believes that to be Terrion, who she has hated her entire life. It's also noted in the book that Cersi was actually first born w/ Jaime coming out second holding on to her hand (I believe I remember the hand holding part correctly). EDIT: He came out second, clutching her heel.
Jaime has evolved throughout the book and show and I believe there will be some event that causes an eventual rift between them, w/ Jaime eventually taking his sisters life.
How long have you lived there? I grew up there and moved away in 97. I remember "close your eyes time" on the local news, when major prime time games were on tape delay. I had the UM v. UNC NCG spoiled for me b/c of tape delay.
And yes, I tell everyone here how great football @ 6 AM is.

5 sets of: 5-8 pull-ups (inside/close grip), cybex shoulder press (5 reps), wide grip pull-down (8 reps), 75 crunches
5 sets of: 5-8 pull-ups (outside/wide grip), dumbell military press (10 reps), seated row (8 reps), 75 crunches
It sucks, but it gets the job done.
That being said, at your weight, I'd just focus on a standard strength/weight lifting program, maybe a 5x5.
