4 weeks 6 days ago	Comparable team to this year	I think we will be in a position to challenge in the B1G for the title and be a 3-4 seed in the tourney.  Likely make the Sweet Sixteen but probably not a Final Four team.  Hope I am wrong on the latter part.

7 weeks 4 days ago	The B1G needs to win National Titles for respect nationwide.	Since our win in 1989, the B1G has only 1title, State in 2000. That's pretty bad. During that timespan the ACC, Big East and SEC have quite a few. And it's not just blueboods like Duke, NC and Kentucky although they have 10 in that stretch I believe. Schools like Arkansas, Maryland, UNLV, Arizona, Syracuse each have a title. UConn came out of nowhere and won 3.
8 weeks 1 day ago	I like the high profile games.	But I wish more were at home. Due to the Joe game against MSU, only 9 home conference games. Then the 2 Boston games, 2 Tech games and maybe 2 Ferris games is only 15 home games. I count 33 games not counting playoffs. 15 home, 15 away, 3 neutral (Joe and GLI). I guess there probably will still be the lesser games to fill out the home schedule like the exhibition games against a Canada college team and the Under 18 team. Sucks not to have any home playoff games. Still, glad to see the Boston teams and I would guess we will get New Hampshire next year.
10 weeks 3 days ago	Either	Win the B1G tourney and make the Elite 8 or Make the Final Four Otherwise, this season isnt a success.  Tying for 4th regular season is an underachievement so the team has ground to make up.
12 weeks 1 day ago	This is great for Detroit	Even better than the old Norris. Getting Boston, Montreal and Toronto is well worth losing Chicago. I agree that it sucks for Chicago.
17 weeks 5 days ago	You could keep checking the ticket spreadsheet.	But I think it will be hard to find a pair for $20.  The ticket spreadsheet is under MGoBoard up top on this site.  I have 4 at face of $20 each for sale for the Saturday Ferris State game.
17 weeks 6 days ago	Gardner question	Does the below quote mean its huge that he got his redshirt or does it mean it is huge if he gets his redshirt? Devin Gardner getting his redshirt is huge not just for the team as a whole, but also Morris's development.
20 weeks 23 hours ago	9-4	5 for sure wins: CMU, Akron, @UConn, Indiana, Minn 8 losable games: ND, @MSU, @PSU, @NW, @Iowa, Nebraska, Ohio, Bowl game.  I think we lose 2 road games, a home game and the bowl game. Under Hoke we are 14-0 at home, but only 5-7 road/neutral site.

29 weeks 4 days ago	It gets worse if Bama loses	I never thought I would say this but if Bama loses to say LSU and Oregon loses to someone, it's ND vs. K State for the national title. I could see ND winning that game unfortunately.
30 weeks 1 day ago	How was San Diego St's and Ball St's defense?	Hoke didn't have Mattison there. Obviously those are weaker programs but did they have strong defenses? I wonder how much is Mattison and how much is Hoke?
30 weeks 2 days ago	Mack Brown might not like it but	That just comes with the territory at being at the richest football program in the country.  I bet he likes all the money that leads to better facilities and all the exposure that leads to better recruits.  I agree with the posters above, he is just making excuses for a shoddy defense which has put them out of the Big 12 race midway through October.

30 weeks 3 days ago	Field rush in 1989 after Ohio game	It started before the game was over as I was in the middle of the field and looked up to see 6 seconds still on the clock.  Michael Taylor had just taken a knee.  I remember thinking how big he looked in pads and helmet compared to the class I had with him. We didnt know it but that was Bo's last game as a coach in M Stadium.  Clinched the Big 10 outright.  I think the score was 28-18.
30 weeks 4 days ago	I think you need to see how he does in a pro style offense.	Hard to judge a guy when he is outside his expertise. But I agree there is concern. I have seen Auburn's undefeated team referenced as a Borges credential but in reality their offense wasn't very good that year and he was ultimately canned.
30 weeks 4 days ago	A thread hijack but who is responsible for the fake FG working?	Is that on Mattison? Or is that a special teams coach? That was obviously a huge turning point if it doesn't succeed. I am amazed that we were not prepared there.
30 weeks 4 days ago	It's kind of troubling	It is somewhat infrequent that we don't score TDs historically and it has now happened twice this year. We have score only 32 points total against the 3 top defenses we have faced. Fortunately, we don't really face anymore top defenses this year (except maybe in the bowl).
