That Devin's moral code does not allow for stealing does not imply that he loves crab legs any less.
The same can be said of obtaining sex from women, for that matter.

*who* you think should have won the Heisman.
|2 weeks 5 days ago||logged in just to neg||
After watching Funchess not block all season, I refuse to blame his lack of production on the same quarterback who made Jeremy Gallon Michigan's all time leading receiver.
|5 weeks 1 day ago||Like I said above,||
this has happened before. But above, I was too lazy to find the link. Since you asked again, I decided to find one.
Here, "secret scrimmage" is not something Beilein hasn't done at Michigan before:
|5 weeks 1 day ago||correct.||
also, this is not the first year michigan has done this. I am too lazy to find a link, but I am positive Beilein has had one of these at least once before.

Reindeer people hiding in the city limits? What the hell are you kids watching/playing/whatever these days?
|6 weeks 1 day ago||I don't know really||
but apparently most people agree with me.
|6 weeks 2 days ago||exactly||
any other view and the AD is admitting everyone hates them. Just like Brandon threw Hoke under the buss over the concussion business, the entire AD is throwing the players under the bus saying that 'terrible, fair weather' Michigan fans hate all Michigan players to take the spotlight off of themselves.
I friggin' hate Brandon and his band of B-school* clowns.
*And not like the cool B-school people I knew, but like the annoying B-shoolers I didn't know but generalized that they were douchey.

|8 weeks 3 days ago||only from stupid people who||
only from stupid people who believe that FIAR and DESIAR are the only things that win football games. Talent and good execution win football games. Poor execution is reflective of poor teaching. Poor teaching is on the coaches.
|8 weeks 3 days ago||right, but, like in poker,||
right, but, like in poker, you should not judge a person's decision based on what happened, only on what was likely to happen. If you pay 50% of the pot chasing 4 outs to the river, you were wrong whether you hit one of the 4 outs or not. You are not a genius if your 2 pair becomes a full house, you are dumb because your two pair was not likely to improve.
|12 weeks 2 days ago||missing the point||
it is not super likely that darboh will be on the field for the first play. Hoke flat out said in 21 personnel Jehu would be the 2nd receiver on the field.
|12 weeks 5 days ago||yes.||
On our best days, we get about a dozen. But it's usually about half that. The good news is the livery stable is tiny, so even if only 6 show, we are still the main crowd in the bar (or just have the place to ourselves).
The M game will always be on, and the bartenders like us.

That's kind of what I figured, thanks. Is there any way to 'copy' the map?

|34 weeks 1 day ago||He dated our next door||
He dated our next door neighbor, a nice young woman on the swim team. A lot of swim team girls lived next to us, and they were all super nice.
We always felt he didn't seem like the nicest guy, but I imagine being friendly all the time when you're a celebrity is tiring, so it could just be that.
|42 weeks 4 days ago||I get that. I think||
I get that. I think football's a bit different. [Most] coaches don't wear suits. Lots of coordinators really get amped. You just don't see it in hoops, and it looks out of place to me.
Plus did I mention Crean's a dick?
|42 weeks 4 days ago||Ha, fair enough. I suppose I||
Ha, fair enough. I suppose I only speak for myself. Personally, I believe MSU plays better/more physical defense than I've seen out of Michigan like ever. If slapping the floor helps them mentally or physically lock in to their defensive goals and mindset, fine.
I just think it looks awful silly when a head coach jumps around in the sideline like that. Most NCAA coaches agree with me, as I can only think of a few (like I said before, Matta is the only other B1G guy that comes to mind) who behave that way.
Also to be clear: I am no complaining about becoming excited/animated. It is doing the things that are normally reserved for players. Jumping around in celebration, waving arms to incite the crowd, interacting with the crowd/players/the other team's bench in any way.
When Crean slaps the floor, I'm pretty sure it's more about being pumped or something than a coaching point to his team to focus on defense (note ridiculously huge fist pump after he does). Crean and Matta do this crap a lot, and it annoys me.
|42 weeks 4 days ago||You'd think||
that by purposely butchering your/you're three times in a row it would be clear that I was making fun of Mr. Internet-Cool-Police-Man-Cop who called me an idiot and misused your/you're at the same time.
Ugh, mods get in here and just delete this thread already. I completely regret it.
|42 weeks 4 days ago||Tom Crean only.||
We make fun of him because he's a dick. If he was a nice dude, and looked like exactly like a mix of Tom Brady and Jim Carrey, I wouldn't mention it.
He's a dick, it's dumb the way he jumps around on the sideline. That is it.

sure. Tom Crean: no.

My guess is you have no idea who the original gsimms around these parts was...

cool for the same reason blowing kisses to the crowd is cool, because FYS.

You're stern admonishment has really humbled me. I hope my apology meets you're standards, as I really hope your able to forgive me.
|42 weeks 4 days ago||I agree, and to be honest I||
I agree, and to be honest I only tried to find this clip because everyone here is all excited about it.
That being said, I think it's absolutely ridiculous to see a 50 year old man doing that crap. I've always hated the Crean/Matta (as much as Izzo gets animated, I don't think he does this type of thing) type coaches that wave their arms around to incite the crowd to cheer, and this is the most ridiculous example I have ever seen of that type of behavior.
|43 weeks 2 days ago||No offense||
Why would I in any way be offended by that comment, except for the fact that it is lead off with "No offense, but..." ?
For what it's worth, I am an engineer as well, and I think you're incorrect.
|43 weeks 2 days ago||Really? Stu and Zack found||
Really? Stu and Zack found leagues. Hell, Javohn Shepherd (spelling?) is still playing someplace, I think. If he wants to play, I bet he can.
Oh, just read the point about 'making a nice living.' You might be right about that. If he wants to spend a few years seeing the world, and getting by, and having fun, he can definitely do that. And when he's done he has a graduate engineering degree I think. Good kid, I'm happy for him.
|1 year 1 week ago||Funny you mention the Orange||
Funny you mention the Orange Bowl. I was there for that, and was also screaming "F--- the run!" for most the game.
Anyway, thanks for the response. I was mostly wondering whether the 'hurr durr'-ing was causing you to seriously reevaluate the direction of the program as a whole.
I think we can all agree this year is effed (barring miraculous comeback which would totally restore my faith in all coaches involved). I'm trying to decide the degree of panic about the future I should have. I think based on reading, I'm deciding to wait another year before I start waving my arms and running around screaming.
|1 year 1 week ago||I agree in principle||
that the play calling in general is not setting up the kids to be in winning positions. When I say "in general," though, I mean not that 'arggh why didn't we call a screen in this situation' as much as "arrghh why are we playing so many tight end and fullbacks and sitting Dileo on the bench. Why are we being so stubborn in our general manball strategy?"
I think it's an important distinction, because isn't stubborness on general strategy more due to the approach head coach wants to take? To me, it just reeks of the defense under Rodriguez. Through 3 seasons, the general feeling amongst these (very pages) was that RR was a great coach being held back by terrible DC's. However, we always saw crap like the Penn State game after a bye, where the defensive personnel would be totally changed and things would go from bad to worse.
After those bye week decisions, people called for GERG/Schafer's heads. I think after 3 years of failure, though, it became more clear it all went back to the head coach not managing the program's defense well.
Do you worry at all the same thing is going on here? The offensive line is bad --> During bye week completely change personnel --> revert to more manball than ever --> things get worse.
When Hoke was hired, we freaked out about his 'basketball on grass' comments. Then, he had the luckiest first season imaginable, and it was universally decided he was an amazing coach. Now, I feel like people are unwilling to let go of the idea that he's an amazing coach and choose to blame all problems on coordinators, similarly to the Rodriguez era.
It's always nice when you post. You know a ton about football and write very clearly/understandably. Hope you are well.
|1 year 7 weeks ago||interesting point, and||
interesting point, and emphasizes the fact that these kids are either
(1) not really prepard for an academically rigorous major, and need to be better 'eased in' to the field in which case a school of their own that incorporates some movement science makes a bit of sense.
(2) Football just takes too much time to handle a kinesiology degree. In which case giving them a few extra credits for all the 'kinesiology lab' they are doing makes a bit of sense.
