You've heard of hashers then, yes?
|10 hours 38 min ago||Hash House Harriers||
An adult social group, for the most part.
|10 hours 39 min ago||Agreed||
And yes, that's what I'm referring to, "hashing." And I'm backing off on my stance, no need to lecture. I get all the feedback, many apologies.
|10 hours 59 min ago||Fair enough,||
and after looking up the lawful definitions, it may appear that I'm being either naive or overly tolerant. The main point I was trying to make is that I've been part of the HHH for several years and this type of behavior is considered tame in comparison.
|11 hours 7 min ago||Agreed on this point||
Buckeyes are truly offensive.
|11 hours 9 min ago||Well||
that's the thing. I don't consider most of the things in that article as harassment. It may be a culture that some find uncomfortable, but in the corporate world harassment implies that someone has power over another and its used to get something.
|11 hours 16 min ago||As much as I'd love to roll||
As much as I'd love to roll in on making fun of our rival, this really isn't that big of a deal as far as I'm concerned. Its college. Hope none of the people who complained have never or will never attend a local HHH event.
Edit: Except for the girl who had to interact with her brother. That's gross.

Slippery Rock's stadium has less WOW factor, so the additonal $12 for the ticket seems like a fair upgrade....

I'm 46 and it still has meaning to me!!!!

in the AF, my friends and I rented a house during the summer in Newport. It was so much fun, so much carnage, so much drinking. Had an absolute blast. Is the Red Parrot still there?
|14 hours 58 min ago||Williamsburg, Virginia||
No shortage of things to do in that area. There's Busch Gardens and Water Country for the kids and then tons of educational opportunities such as Colonial Williamsburg, Yorktown, Jamestown Settlement....stuff to do for the entire family.

could downvote a young boy along with one of the most beloved players in recent UM Football history? I'm befuddled.

St Louis BBQ joints follow the same naming convention with the possessive locations: Pappy's BBQ and Bogart's BBQ. Good stuff.

are you saying this is just a big over reaction from emotional fans?
Color me surprised.

I went last year, miserable weather, but I think I may go again this year. Easy drive for me from StLouis. Fun times in Chicago too.

Impressive! The water we had was 61 degrees and I had a tough time with it. Once I got rolling though, it wasn't too bad because all the exposed areas went numb and you didn't notice it anymore. But I followed it up with a 56 mile bike ride, so I warmed up pretty quickly. :-)

but wanted to weigh in on the Great Lakes comments...I went for a 1.2 mile swim in Lake Michigan yesterday and almost froze my nose off.
That is all.

I am playing in a church fund raiser in Columbus, North of Columbus actually, and I'll be repping with my maize and blue for sure. This will be my third year in a row playing this tournament and I did the same last year. Its fun...given the right crowd.

I'm sure that getting their hands on that type of weapon, powerful but not terribly accurate, would be relatively easy depending on the group's skill. The weapons that reach that high aren't as easy as a shoulder launched missile, so the logistics are a bit more complicated.

but Bo's pic (your avatar) looks a bit like Tom Clancy. Coincidence?

I'm trying to read between the lines, and keeping this unclassified, its interesting to read that rebels may have shot down this airplane while it was at 33,000 feet. Things afforded to that type of group typically don't have that sort of capability. I'll be interested to hear more as they get details in a few days.
