For the Air Force Academy, and the other Service Academies I imagine, the week leading up to graduation is a full one. The biggest events that I can recall were the Baccalaureate Services and most importantly the "Ring Dance" where the junior class receives their class rings, signifying that they are preparing to take over leadership roles and the Seniors are soon graduating.

and I agree with you. Even if SOME alcohol consumption is a factor, most of the discussion is centering around people blacking out. The majority of college hook-ups are at bars of course, where some imbibing simply results in the lowering of one's inhibitions. There may be some regrets, but it doesn't always mean rape.

"Hold on, Baby...lemme record your agreement before we get started..."

but the "reasonable person" concept applies to the 12 people sitting in a jury box...that's who needs to be convinced...which is the key to this type of accusation.

This move is just some political back peddling to try and keep the potential social uprising to a minimum.

if its possible to ask the players currently wearing legends numbers and hear what they think, if its stupid or not. Of course, it'll never happen or they'd just say they love it because its the classiest thing to say and our guys wearing those numbers are nothing but class and most deserving, thus why they were selected for the honor in the first place.

Even though his season was shortened, you don't think Jake MF Ryan played up to his legends jersey? I do.
|17 hours 49 min ago||Absolutely brilliant.||
Must. Have. Upvote.
|17 hours 55 min ago||Generally speaking||
I don't disagree. Allowing a player to establish their own legacy is important, however with the potential for lots and lots of talented players that could attend Michgan over time, you start running the risk of retiring too many numbers.
"Starting WR, #87....Joe Smith...
Starting DE, #87....Steve Jones....
Starting kicker, #87...."
When we typically field over 100 kids and we're already doubling up numbers, this could be problematic in a number of years.

the SEC can't get a powerful ally to help sponsor their own network.

would probably not be as large if it wasn't for the addition of Texas A&M, but dang...lots of traditional SEC teams in that top 10.

Wait...I'm an Air Force grad. Wrong Falcons.

and if you're going to Detroit, you have to have an iconic Coney Dog. I personally am a Lafayette Coney guy, but next door is the American Coney and has its merits as well. I don't want to start a civil war about it, so I'll leave the decision to you.

Yes, its a frequent topic of discussion around here, calling them ohio, "Hoke does it, so its okay..." thing. But people hate the "pet names" they have for us, yet have a hard time when we return fire, "suckeyes" and the like. I stay away from that type of naming convention, but I will call them ohio right to their faces. Its not vulgar and is JUST underhandedly annoying enough to bother them. Its, at least, not an overt slam but more just enough disrespect to prove a point.

I don't think its obsessing, but just support for our theory about the whole state being the DBs that we all think they are. It's entertainment at this point, especailly in the (somewhat) off season.

of my responses are intended for humor...no disrespect taken. I will say that the intent behind the post was to get people to think about what it is they write before hitting the submit button. When posts get deleted, that's just an example of someone who didn't think it through, even if their intention was honorable.

You can try it out with me if you want. But make mine corned beef. With some swiss cheese. And grilled onions. Maybe a schmear of Russian dressing. If its not too much trouble.
