Am I the only one thinking that Tim Tyrrell will be the next hs coach Harbaugh brings up? Of all the coaches that spoke, Harbaugh discussed him twice, without any questions about Tyrrell specifically. That's gotta say something.

Hey man, everybody steals, everybody kills, and everybody rapes. How do you know that?

You don't know what Harbaugh's got planned for him! Dual QB/DT sounds like a Harbaugh dream player

The one problem I see is that this is proving to be a great way for the SEC to divert attention away from Ole Miss. The Florida practices had been known about for over a week before Sankey said anything. Then, the day the report comes out saying that nearly half of ole miss' violations were in the football program, he starts taking about this. Have a hard time believing that's a coincidence

100% a Freep guy looking to write a story about how Harbaugh is losing Michigan to MSU, or about how Harbaugh wants to crush the dreams of Michigan high school students.

I don't know. Ole Miss isn't a top school like OSU or Alabama, so I could see them really getting hammered

Regardless of whether it should be legal, or whether it will be legal in the next decade, if he was caught multiple times, then yes, he should be kicked off the team. The law is the law, doesn't matter how you feel about it. Also, it isn't truly legal anywhere in the US. Although it is true that some states have legalized it, it is nevertheless illegal under federal law. Therefore, you can still be prosecuted in federal court for it, if the justice department decides to go after people in those states. That's why shops in Colorado are cash only, because banks and credit card companies won't touch those transactions

Why close it? Because erald01 called a bunch of people using foul language and threatening violence ghetto losers. Based on their behavior, that's what they are. No different from calling a bunch of confederate flag waving, racial slur using people redneck pieces of shit. It is proper to look down upon and fight bad behavior, regardless of who it is

Watching the highlights, I didn't see the lack of explosiveness you're referring to. What I did see was him having to dodge many more people in the backfield in these highlights, so the lack of explosiveness might simply be due to being unable to get a head of steam

That's awesome! Has Michigan changed the admission process though? I could have sworn that when I applied (started as a freshman in 2007) they did rolling admissions rather than having a set early admission date

I assume that the top 10 designation and such would be based on the end of the year polls, as opposed to the rank at the time the two teams played

His stock is down because they beat nobody and they lost to Arkansas, which is an average team, at best (Ark beat LSU because, after Bama, LSU went into the shitter. Definitely looked like Fournette was hurt after playing Bama). Rocky Top fans have been saying they're 2 years away for 15 years now with nothing to show for it. Just because they didn't lose to any bad teams this year doesn't mean they're any good

If you're going to say it like that, it has to be: damn, dat boy good (pronounced all southern like: dayumm, daat boi gooood. Basically imitate Finebaum callers: Pawwwl, daat Bama line's bout to kill dem boi-ss)

Based on when you joined, I assume you also remember a time when we were just excited to make the Tourney, with little real expectation of winning more than one game. My, how the Burke/Stauskas years spoiled us.

He isn't locked in there. We don't know what his strongest area even is, given that this is his first college gig. He might become the WRs coach, given that it seems likely that Fisch was only on a one year contract and isn't likely to stay.

Damn, I'd be happy if they have a ceiling at Chesson. Jeez, the guy just was named 1st team all big ten and has a year left to play. What you're saying then is that anything less than that will be a disappointment. Have to temper your expectations a bit.

His last two were on loose balls. Would rather he go after those aggressively than worry about the refs calling things that rarely get called
|22 weeks 2 days ago||There's a difference between||
There's a difference between being a realist and being a pessimistic downer. Just because we're biased about them doesn't mean they aren't actually great. The fact is, national commentators have mentioned Lewis as having an All American caliber year, that isn't our bias. PFF isn't biased, and it is saying Lewis is the best in the country. And, as WolverineInCbus said, Butt's stats merit him being a finalist. If you're going to be a killjoy, at least do it with some basis.

Although he isn't as highly regarded as he once was, can't sleep on Kirby Smart. He's young, a UGA alum, and has learned from the best. A few years ago there were rumors among Bama people that he didn't take other offers because he was waiting the UGA job to open up. The obvious problem is no head coaching experience, but, UGA is like Michigan in that they prefer keeping it in the family.

I'm more concerned about when Durkin will leave. I know Harbaugh is good at finding good coaches, but Durkin really seems to be a special defensive mind, on par with Narduzzi, I think.

|27 weeks 2 days ago||That is true, currently.||
That is true, currently. However, if you look to the case of Drew Sterrett (at Michigan...I use his name because he did an in depth interview and has put himself in the public sphere), and many others across the country, the procedures currently in place due to a 2010 OCR letter are raising serious due process questions for the accused. This is not to say anything about the accuser or accused in any given case, just to say that the current procedures are not adequate.

Random story in agreement with your point. Had a contracts professor who used to say, "terms that are capable of having any meaning end up meaningless." I always felt that applied equally to people who stretch the meaning of words to the point that there are no limits as to what the word can encompass.
