It might not be a bad idea for Braxton Miller to take off this year. There are a lot of NFL teams that need QBs and the idea of having a spread QB is also tempting. He obviously has issues with accuracy on shorter throws but those won't go away with another year playing college football. Plus, next years' QB class is really impressive. He could potentially be a top 5 QB this year, but doesn't have a chance to be one next year.
We should have a first round pick next year. Kiper said that Denard will be at least the #2 WR for next year. In this current NFL, there will definitely be two WRs taken in the first round. That puts Denard as a first round pick. I know he really wants to be a QB at the next level but you gotta think teams would take him regardless because of his potential elsewhere.
This is all not mentioning Lewan, Toussaint, and Floyd(maybe?) who could all be first round picks if they have good years this fall.
I believe (and I hope), that our days of being irrelevant on Draft day like we have been in the last few years, are over.
I was at the Rockford vs. Grand Haven game with a close eye on Braden. The guy is obviously huge but early on I was unimpressed by his feet. As the game dragged on, I became more and more impressed. He was consistantly pushing his defender 10 yards or more off the line of scrimmage. I was impressed with his feet once Rockford starting breaking long runs and Braden would be right with the RB blocking for him 20 yards downfield. Eventually GH defenders started just falling to the ground and making a pile, because nobody out there could hold their own against Braden. And keep in mind, Grand Haven has a pretty good team. Their DEs are a little small but not bad by any stretch of the imagination. I'm excited that we are going to see Braden in maize and blue in the future!

(Wishful thinking)

You randomly yell "MANBALL" during a pickup football game and all the guys around you look at you strangely.....
You meet a girl who you find out is a fellow MGoBlogger and you think "I could marry her"
