Umbig11 used to have some street cred but the way he acted after ND really put me off. Didn’t act like a guy who would be so connected to the program the way he bashed the players.
Not sure where you come up with Patterson leaving early to the NFL. He’s been good but struggled too much against the better teams to leave early at this point.
Michigan wins 33-20. I dont see how ND is going to score more than 20, just look at the points aginst this defense last year: 17, 14, 13, 10, 14, 20, 42, 14, 10, 10, 24, 31, 26. The outlier scores were an elite QB or elite offenses combined with historically bad offensive performances on our part. There is nothing coming out of ND that suggests they are an elite offense and they don’t even have a true starter. If Patterson is mid-year Ruddock level this game is locked up mid 3rd quarter.
The results have shown so far that this was in fact how the bulk of the university conducted themselves on and off the field. It’s a perfectly fair assessment IMO

Closest I can think of was at ND in 2006. Michigan won 47-21.
