Last season, Ferris played 16 games in 16 weeks. I'll admit it was a bit of an outlier, as they had to forfeit their first-round bye that would have otherwise given them a week off, and they only played 12 games prior to their first playoff game this season, but it does happen, seemingly without any major ill effects...
I was very impressed with the offense as a whole last night. It seemed very fluid and the team as a whole did an excellent job of finding the open shot. Seemed like there were very few, if any, bad shots.
The design of the offense, thus far, appears to put the defense in conflict often and creates a lot of good looks.
I would agree that Ann Arbor and Madison are the top two. Minnesota stands out for me, as it is really the only urban campus in the conference. I've enjoyed Iowa City the times I have been there as well. Northwestern has a beautiful campus and the proximity to the lake and Chicago certainly helps it's cause. I thought Bloomington was fine, nothing spectacular.
I'm guessing he would argue that his head coach being fired is a valid reason for a waiver and would hope to be immediately eligible next year and still have four years of eligibility remaining.

JH has been very good at hiring position coaches, but this one seems really odd, especially given the other rumored candidates.
I would add that 247 lists his recruiters as Moore and Zordich, so it would seem as though he has strong relationships with those coaches as well.

Ferris did beat Ouachita, NWMSU, and Minnesota State in last year's playoffs, but it does seem to be a taller task this year.
