Has anything been published to indicate that he has any interst in Michigan, or vice versa?
|4 days 17 hours ago||I believe so||
IIRC, Harbaugh did not contact DeWeaver at all, and Drevno let him know they would be recruiting other QBs in the class.

I'd go with ZIngerman's Deli over the Roadhouse, but that's just my preference.
May add Pizza House to the list, depending on what you're looking for.
Angelo's or the Broken Egg for breakfast.
|4 weeks 2 days ago||Atomic Bunting||
If we're up big in the 4th at home, Bunting will be put in for punt returns so that he can do his own special dance to Atomic Dog.
|4 weeks 2 days ago||Floor too||
Not that I am not excited for the real upside, but I'm happy to think how much higher the floor is as well!
|7 weeks 3 days ago||Not true?||
I believe that I just read somewhere that there is no "conditional" release from an LOI. It's either in force, or it is not.
|7 weeks 5 days ago||Seriously?||
I have a crazy idea...
How about having the coaching staff spend more than one month getting to know the recruits before they have to commit?
|8 weeks 26 min ago||Yes||
Unless we start changing coaches every year, this will likely help notably more than it hurts.
To answer your question, yes, I still want it... particularly as we have our (hopefully long-term) coach already on board.
|8 weeks 4 days ago||Certainly if Harbaugh||
Certainly if Harbaugh continues to bring in two QBs per year, we'll be seeing many moving out over time.

Trying to make up for the derth of good NM high school football coverage.
|8 weeks 4 days ago||Positive spin?||
I am going to tell myself that this is because the coaches feel good about Weber and started slow-playing Booker, even if it is just because this makes me feel happier going into the weekend.

|8 weeks 5 days ago||Agreed.||
I wasn't adding that ingo to refute what you said, just adding a bit of info that the previous post might have been referencing. Without an offer, I'd call it evaluating more than recruiting as well.
|8 weeks 5 days ago||No offer, I believe, but||
Markel Bush visited January 23rd.
My quick googling showed no ratings on the major services, but I could have missed one.

Here's a similar MacPreps article for those who don't want to BR.
The New Mexico theme is interesting.

It also says he committed to Wisconsin before he visited. Sounds like perhaps he was committed to Indiana, but immediately jumped at the opportunity to move to a "biggger" program... hopefully the same will be the case with the Michigan offer.

Perhaps a consensus 5-star top 30 player in not just a backup plan for Texas.
Who knows which visit might have influenced the other. I agree with you, if Murray were to flip to Texas, it would seem that might nudge Gentry in our direction. Let's hope that both of them love their upcoming visits!

He's corrected the link, but the comments will not let it die! Some of them are pretty funny.
|9 weeks 5 days ago||re-offered||
One of the recruiting analysts (I forgot who) mentioned that he was re-offered today by the new staff.
|9 weeks 5 days ago||^^ This||
My first thoughts exactly.
I'm not going to go so far as to say it's Iman Marshall, but this give me the impression that the staff is feeling good about another prospect or two who are higher on their board.
|10 weeks 2 hours ago||I agree. It is amazing what||
I agree. It is amazing what (wildly negative an inappropriate) crap people will tweet to recruits. I've never even sent a "Go Blue!" or re-tweeted. I have favorited a recruiting photo or two, but that's it.
|10 weeks 2 hours ago||Follow, but don't tweet?||
I have noticed a number of recruits with tweets along the lines of "Love to hear from XYZ U's fans" "Where are all the XYZ U fans?"
Lately, when I hear that a recruit has received an offer, I'll follow that recruit. I NEVER tweet at/around them. (I can't say I really tweet at all, for that matter.) I feel this give a sense of the size/passion of the UofM fan base, without crossing any lines on contacting recruits.
I am not posting this as neg bait/flame bait, just genuinly interested in others' opinions on this practice.

Yes, thanks. That contains almost none of the details in that are in the Maize n Brew article & it is no longer on the front page.

I edited that out of the title... makes it a bit less cumbersome!
|10 weeks 3 days ago||I suspect that he understood||
I suspect that he understood quite well that it would come with the territory when he took the job.
It also may be a bonus on a recruiting trip, to foster the rockstar coach persona.
