Welcome to Mgoblog, nothing to see there. But Brian's also talking meta right now and it's depressing that so many Mgoblog posters are revealing their ignorance of that. Meta: what's happened in the last couple weeks revealed stories, some of them rather unpleasant. In addition to venting, Brian is talking about those stories right now and while it's understandable to want/need to feel AWESOME and ONLY awesome about a charasmatic new coach, understand also that those stories are insightful, important and reflective of the spirit that is Mgoblog. It's my nature to lurk; I'm rarely moved to post. But the added value of Mgoblog has always been thoughtful commentary from a relatively sophisticated fan-base and it's terribly lacking in this thread and beyond. A victim of its success? Maybe. But if you are impatient with those qualities that make Mgoblog special then I invite you to lurk silently as well.
