Nobody in SD likes the Los Angeles Chargers.
Couldn’t agree more on watching them collapse. Seeing the collapse get initiated by Bosa was just the hilarious cherry on top...
There is definitely money to be made - 100%, people have made millions - but I would call it gambling more than investing until it stablizes over the next 5-10 years. Bitcoin/ether are all the rage right now until the next best things come out. If that happens the value of older cryptos will essentially dissolve into thin air. Gambling on hot new coins can make you or lose you a ton of money.
There are still too many vulerabilities and not enough practical real-world business applications for blockchain outside of finance right now (yes blockchain can be used for all types of things, but at this point there is not enough advantage to move entire systems to blockchain technology, outside of some obvious applications mostly in finance). I do agree this will change in the future as it is superior technology, we're just not there yet as a society.
To be honest with you, the real money right now is in ICO's; it's completely unregulated, not sure how long that will last.
Once it stablizes in the future, blockchain will be prevalent especially in data and transaction heavy industries such as healthcare.
I can never get past the first page of threads on the sidebar. When I hit the next page button, the whole thread section of the sidebar disappears. Not sure if that's just me. Help!
I think honorary co-MVP should go to Jake Butt. I didn't realize until watching the game for a 2nd time how many extremely vital catches he had that kept us in the game.
I have a feeling we are going to see a lot of tight end action this weekend, maybe even the Jake Butt showoff 2.0 (re: Utah game 2015). Should be good with Isaac in attendance.
Nosebleed seats are not bad.. view is incredible of both the field/stadium as well as the background scenery (especially if you're facing the mountains towards the East). Also it's cooler up there, its supposed to be in the mid-80's meaning field level will be at least mid-90's and scorching. I've sat sideline before on a similarly hot day and it was not enjoyable.
I'll be there rooting for both teams with a rowdy group from Michigan.
PB Bar & Grill unfortunately shut down recently. I think Johnny V's accross the street is the new spot (not sure why other than it was close to the original spot). Looking forward to watching some games there very soon!
I know his performances have been nothing short of a disaster so far, but I honestly feel there will be a second coming of Shane Morris over the next two years. A full offesason with Harbaugh is going to work wonders for him.
I was wondering this as well. I would imagine traffic is up significantly, scaling up as the season went on with spikes around the DB fiasco and Hoke's firing.
I missed the chat this morning but saw the explosion of 100% posts right after haha. Multiple people (from both Michigan's side and from Harbaugh's side) seem to be humming its 100% as of this morning.
I'm optimisitic but I'm firmly in the camp of it's 100% when there's a press conference / official announcement. Let's cross our fingers that this thing is finally a done deal!
I also heard this FWIW. Des and Carter went to meet with Mrs Harbaugh and basically sold her on the fact that him coming back to Michigan would be one for the books. She wants Jim to "go make history" and is truly behind him.

Logged in just to say fuck the Chargers.
Huge fan of Harbaugh and what he did for our university, but fuck the Chargers and in particular Dean Spanos.
That organization's abandonment of the city of San Diego was unforgivable.... and they are a bottom tier team in LA now.
Love Harbaugh but if we were losing him to the NFL, would have loved to see him go to a better organization.
Chargers are no longer in SD…
Exactly.

Let’s get after it - go blue!!!!!

It's pure speculation at this point.

He can be our version of Clemson's Hunter Renfrow, but with more Nat. Championship catches/touchdowns.
On a serious note, he will be one of my favorites of this class if he ends up a part of it. Guy is a straight gamer.
How large is this site and how much bandwidth does it require during spikes? I may be able to help out.
38-13 Michigan
Thanks for posting this. Love Humans of New York
True, Harbaugh as well.
Victor Viramontes has the potential to be a great linebacker.
Uhhhh... have you not seen The Butterfly Effect?

Heading to the game now... Go Chargers!
Jake Butt TD. I think he'll get 2 tomorrow.

That Jameal Peppers guy sounds pretty good.

Anyone know of a good link to watch the game? Stuck in the office right now...

PS... Dantonio???? Really?
USA Today also just picked this up: http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ncaaf/2014/12/27/report-harbaugh-to-sign-with-michigan/20948481/

Edge of the internet saying Harbaugh is done deal now as of today FWIW

I was excited when I noticed a few Bells beers popping up in local pubs here in San Diego! Glad to see this
Brought a tear to my eye!
