I mean, he did through it right to the DB.

My disgust for Utah has been…

My disgust for Utah has been around longer, but my disdain for osu is just as strong. I wish they could both lose.

As both a BYU and Michigan…

As both a BYU and Michigan grad, this rose bowl is an abomination. I can’t get myself to cheer for either team. I’m cheering for a meteor, or Bane.

I think UGA’s LT jumped…

I think UGA’s LT jumped early again just now.

So, can McNamara play…

This is awesome! I've been wanting to learn some basic computer science and coding. I'll have to look into this.

Go Blue!

I really like his first two…

I really like his first two episodes. I suggest trying them out if you haven't already. Looking forward to hearing from Woodley.

Correct it will be on NBC…

Correct it will be on NBC. However, I have been able to watch a lot of content televised on NBC/FOX/ABC with my PSVue login information. I use Amazon Fire TV with the PSVue app. If something is on a NBC/FOX/ABC I am usually able to watch it on the NBCSports, FoxSportsGO, or ESPN apps using my PSVue login info. This isn't 100%, but typically if something is on NBC, I can see it through the NBCSports app. That's how I'm hoping to watch the ND game, but I will say of all these, NBC seems to be the most fickle with what is and is not available on their app.

I've had PSVue for the last…

I've had PSVue for the last two year, and for the most part I have really enjoyed it. I suggest looking carefully into it see if it has all of the channels you want, especially what you will/won't get locally and if they will require you to make any upgrades for specific channels. I have the base package and get ESPN, ESPN2, NBCSports, FS1, FS2. The last two years they have given me a free upgrade (I haven't even asked, they just gave it to me) from July to Feb with and additional sports package so I get the BigTen network, NFL network, etc.

Additional pluses are the unlimited cloud DVR. You can record as much as you want, the only limitation is that things that you record only stay for around a month. The fact that it is month to month. We stopped it last spring as we weren't using it much. It was very easy to stop service and then start it up again when we wanted to.

Bottomline, I like it, but check it and compare it to other options.

That’s fantastic!

Correct. Hence "in hell" and…

Correct. Hence "in hell" and not in a jail cell. But, I guess that thinking also depends on one's religious/after life beliefs. Either way, he needs to rot.

Absolutely disgusting! That…

Absolutely disgusting! That doctor deserves to rot in hell. I hope those that helped cover up his actions have their complicity exposed and punished accordingly. Terrible!

And with regard to this…

And with regard to this point, I think that unless OSU gets a coach like Stoops (like carolina blue and others have suggested) that those outside the B1G will feel that the strength of football in the conference will have diminished. I don't necessarily agree that it will, but I think that is what outsiders will think.

With regard to your response…

With regard to your response to the OP's point #1. I don't think he is asking about the perceived morality of the conference, rather the level and strength of football in the conference. I believe he is saying that Meyer coming to OSU has helped to raised the strength of the football in the conference as a whole and how the strength of football in the conference is perceived by the rest of the country.

Best wishes. Get healthy and…

Best wishes. Get healthy and come back stronger and better than before!

Dang, that is some really…

Dang, that is some really bad stuff. Sounds like Meyer definitely knew since 2015, but probably knew since 2009 with the incidents in Florida. Domestic abuse should not be tolerated for anyone, not even those who at times get a pass because they are viewed as "special" due to associate with something people adore (e.g., those associated with the favorite local football team).

This part is particularly sick, especially now that we know happened in the years to come. “He [Hiram de Fries, Meyer's "life coach"] said ‘if you don’t drop the charges, Zach will never coach again,’ ” Courtney said. “ ‘He’s never hit you before. He was drinking. He’ll probably never do it again. You should think about giving him a second chance.’ “

I moved away from the Tampa area a year ago.

We are now in the midwest and out of Irma's path. I worry about what will happen to our friends down there. You're definitely in our prayers. Godspeed.

I think so. I watched the Florida (which was on ABC where I am) using the Watch ESPN app yesterday.
Thoughts about BYU's Bronco Mendenhall

First time posting. I'm an alum of both BYU and Michigan (grad school), and I follow both football teams closely. I have seen multiple posts about Bronco in this thread and I thought my insight as a BYU fan on Bronco might be informative.

I would be very surprised to see Bronco leave BYU for another coaching position. He is very comfortable there. He enjoys tying his faith to his work as as coach, something he wouldn't be able to do as freely elsewhere. He is just shy of 50 and I see him coaching no more than 10 years (really closer to 6-8) and then spending as much time as possible with his family and surfing (he loves it).

However, if he did leave BYU, I see him going to one of two types of institutions. The first would be a service academy (e.g., Navy, Air Force). He has spoken glowingly about the service academies in the past and greatly admires the institutions and their missions. The second type of place that could attract him is a place like Michigan. One of his foci as a coach is tradition. That was his mantra when taking over at BYU, restoring tradition and success. He would work hard to connect his team and program to past Michigan greats and traditions. He wouldn't necessarily try to emulate the same playing style, but he would ensure that the current team was well educated in the great traditions and success of past Michigan players and teams. He might see restoring Michigan's tradition and success as a challenge he would like to face.

If he were to leave BYU for Michigan I would be saddened as a BYU fan but very happy as a wolverine. I think Michigan would be wise to strongly consider him when the time comes.
