I have a really good friend that lives in Montgomery and is a huge Bama fan. For years he has known more about national recruiting that I could dream of. Bama football is a religion and recruiting is just an extension - so keep the updates coming. BTW - your initials aren't RG are they?
Tom - thanks for the update - great info again. Any update on Washington/Stanford? Do you the Kyle commit forces Jordan Diamond's hand? Any news on a QB for this class?
The amazing thing about this recruiting class is that a recruiting class like doesn't hapeen to a team that is coming off a 7 -5 season with a new coaching staff that is featuring a complete overhaul of the offensive and defensive schemes. The real credit needs to go to the coaching staff because they are somehow convincing kids that probably wouldn't be serious about Michigan a year ago to not only commit, but to commit early. I can't wait to see what this staff does with the current and future teams.

Get in your rusted-out pickup, stop at the nearest party store a buy a six pack of that no-brand beer you like so much. Take it home to your trailer, beat your wife, kick your dog (or vice versa). Turn on the TV and watch monster truck racing on the all "all-access Red Neck Channel" of your choice. Fall asleep with a Camel burning in the ashtray and the TV dinner in your lap. When you wake up tomorrow you can start thinking about all the two and three star players that are left for you to recruit.
It's nice to see some of their arrogance shoved back down their throats!
I would be curious to see a weekly update from Tom VH on who he thinks is going take the 3 remaining OL slots and why? Things around the remaining OL slots seem to be spinning faster than the Tilt-A-Whirl at the local fair...
Wow, what a cool interview. With all the negative stuff happening in Columbus it is great to see an interview with a very neat sounding lady. If UofM is lucky enough to convince the Diamond's to join the Michigan family I think that they will find that we care for our family members even long after they have graduated and moved on. Great families lead to great kids.

I always thought the NCAA was like an NBA wife - they know what is going on behind their backs, but as long as you don't embarrass them - they let you go. But the moment you embarass them by flaunting your cheating - they bring out the hammer and slam you. Who was worse, Tressell or Pryor?
It will be interesting to see how many additional investigations get spun off at T$IO in the future before the NCAA rolls out the punishments to T$IO.
Pryor is exactly like Reggie Bush. The irony is amazing.
Next will be "rental gate"! There are a lot of rumors flying around CBus and other Ohio cities that Pryor was living in a place that is way beyond the type of apartment that a college kid can afford. I wonder how many players are going to get caught up in that scandal and if the combination of scandals (cars, apartments, tats, hookers, etc) is going to force the NCAA to come down even harderon T$IO!
The Ticket is reporting that T$IO and the NCAA are launching an investigation on Terrell Pryor regarding his housing and cars. This kid is done at the college football level!!
so I wonder if the resignation of the "vest" isn't just T$IO trying to manipulate the system even more. is it true that now that the "vest" is no longer an employee of the university, he no longer has to explain to the NCAA what he knew and when he new it?
Didn't USC and Pete Carroll do something similiar? I wonder if we will find out soon that the "vest" has a really nice buyout deal that was negotiated by the lawyer that he hired? It wouldn't surprise me at all to see that this is just another tactic being employed by the T$IO to avoid sanctions and penalities.
How long before we find out that Terrell "aka Reggie Bush" Pryor is not going to play his senior season and asked the NFL for a supplemental draft.....
