The current basketball uniforms are not, I don't believe, a homage to the Fab Five. This basic look has been around since the 1989-1990 team. The Block M uni was "retired" when they won the 1989 national title.
Also, it seems like the UTL uniform stripes were inspired by the 1891 uniforms, which had very similar stripes on the sleeves.
How exactly was anything I said insulting, rather than true? The maize colored glasses around here are amazing. Anything contrary to the "Michigan is the best" thought is blasted.

According to the University, Forcier apparently tried to meet with Brandon at a time that Brandon was not available so Brandon asked to reschedule. The Forciers even met with assistant athletic director Brian Townsend in person, and Townsend relayed the message but the Forciers never pursued another meeting.
I had two guys sitting near me. On every offensive play, they would would yell "Go Shoelace!" in unison. On every defensive play, it was "go defense go!", "interception!" and "drop the ball!". To make it better, when Forcier came in, they would yell "Go Tater Tot!" and "Go Tah-tay!" on every offensive play.
Between that, the hugging each other after every good play, and the continous asking about the Nebraska score, it got to be a bit much after awhile.

I would think the "revenge tour" would be the Big Ten season only... seeing as we have nothing to get revenge on UConn, UMass and Bowling Green for. A Big Ten-only shirt would be something I'd purchase ASAP.

I had my picture taken with him at Michigan's basketball camp in 1990. I was 13, and meeting him was an amazing moment for me at the time. He also gave me my first ever starting-lineup spot at the camp, the day he coached my team. He was such a nice guy.
So, thanks Coach, for giving me a lasting memory.
You're right. Michigan didn't miss any shots during the game, didn't turn the ball over, etc. It's all Beilein/Douglass' fault.
Suck it up, man. Michigan played a good game. I'm terribly bummed that they lost, but calling for one guy's head for this loss (granted, the final coaching decision wasn't a good one).
How many ill-advised, bad shots did Manny jack up this season? I'm sure the coach was to blame for that, too... right?
In case you hadn't noticed, Michigan's MO this season is getting an early lead, then blowing it. Give them credit for coming back.
You think he isn't trying to recruit Detroit? Do you realize that the basketball power in this state -- MSU -- owns Detroit? UM has to start winning games first, then the recruits will come. The system needs to be proven to work here before the top players come. Until then, Beilein is forced to run this system with the best players he can get.
It WILL happen.
