Yeah, the run game ends up looking good because we broke some plays but in general it was a lot of 2nd and 8’s in those drives running the same series of plays. To say “they couldn’t stop it” is not really accurate and had we needed a quick scoring drive I would’ve had serious concerns. Stretching the field a bit wouldn’t have been a bad idea. I guess the upside is that should we have needed to pull some play action, we had things setup for surprise to make the fakes credible. Not to mention Corum had a fumble, so it wasn’t flawless—but it did work and what ultimately counts
Agree completely with the coaching responsibilities, they need to come up with a long term solution if JH is going to have to serve the entire suspension. This worked for the short term but it’s not ideal.
If you saw him run off the field after his interviews you’d have no concerns about his ankle. He bounced off the field from the 50 yard line, past all the fans who had worked their way down in the end zone to cheer him on like a gazelle. He barely touched the ground while waving and hyping up the crowd. He’s fine.
I’d say the motivation to win in a totally outlandish manner that displays their utter dominance was just as important. This was pretty extreme. It says “team” to me. I don’t think anyone, most importantly JJ would attribute his career passing totals to himself. I’d argue he would put all the credit for those yards on his teammates over the years.
We’ll cross that bridge when we come to it. Or we’ll run the ball for the rest of the season and prove me right—also I’m not married to it long term but seemed like something theh could try to save for this one game and see where it goes from there
A few people have mentioned some parking garages. I didn’t really have a sense for if they’d be legitimate options but it sounds like they are. Again, just thinking to whether I would try to park in a parking deck in AA on GameDay, probably not but sounds like it’s a good option here.
Were you able to pay to park there? Most of the stuff near the stadium is parking permit only for season ticket holders and are going for up to $1000 on the secondary. They only have two small lots designated as pay on day of lots.
I will say this. For all the stupid bluster and bullshit that Petitti has come with and the total trainwreck he has created for himself with that stupid meeting last week, he does have the opportunity to salvage this situation. He does have the ability to hit pause and really assess what a disaster he is about to turn the entire conference in to. After having a few months of success with expansion, etc. and a bright future upon us, I don't see how he just plows ahead without spending some time doing cost benefit analysis because Michigan is on the precipice of burning this entire fucking thing to the ground--which it absolutely should if our season is put in jeopardy by this with a suspension or sanctions. He has no downside to deferring back to the NCAA and letting them complete their due process. Especially in light of how widespread this possibly is. He would actually get a HUGE mulligan in opening Pandora's box and still have the ability to close it for the time being. I don't think Michigan's response will be 1/10 as furious if he just lets the NCAA do their investigation, hand down their punishment and then make a rational decision as to whether to add on to that. If he is able to step back and come to this conclusion, he should really be given a lot of credit for doing so. So there's still hope for him yet. Let's see where it goes.

With all that’s been leaked it’s highly unlikely there is a smoking gun that hasn’t been dropped. With that many outraged coaches and this much media attention there is no way that the most important piece of evidence—the only one that would actually make Harbaugh accountable for any of this, hasn’t at least been rumored to exist. They are grasping at straws and trying to find a way to justify going against all their precedent and by laws to make something stick and that’s why a lawsuit is likely if a suspension is handed down. As far as I’ve seen an “indefinite” one isn’t even possible by the conference without due process so good luck with that. Said hello and congrats on an amazing win and invited us all in. The next two hours were spent having a rager in the President’s House. People raiding the fridge, hanging out in bedrooms and the back yard. It was one of the coolest experiences of my 4 years. Never seen anything like it. If they want to take action they should take the lead on the investigation and go through proper channels to levy a punishment if something is found.
