Obviously we don't know what will comprise the playoff committee's criteria for choosing teams yet; however by all accounts schedule strength will matter much more than it does now in the current BCS landscape.
As a Michigan fan I would be mildly upset, as a Minnesota fan I would be neutral. After seeing how the Big East has 3 teams ranked above any Big Ten teams despite playing largely similar OOC schedules to those above (minus VT, some others), I am excited to finally be somewhat rewarded for playing teams like Alabama and ND in the future.
It's not really that he is missing seams so much as the seams fill so quickly with Alabama athletes. I'm excited to see what he can do against smaller, slower competition.
By all accounts Beyer was actually beating out Frank Clark for the starting spot before the legal stuff. Don't really know if Clark will come back and take the position away from Beyer or not, but adding him to the two-deep would be nice.
Usually around 2pm (now)....Jerry Palm just said that Ok State needs to be no.2 in the Harris poll and be 5 points ahead of Bama for them to be no.2 in the BCS rankings later tonight.
I don't know how to input charts, but I real quick added Kalis to a copy-and-pasted chart and updated our averages, given that Kalis is a 4* per Rivals, 247, and ESPN and a 5* per Scout:
I did some grad work at MSU for a short stint and got to know the campus pretty well. It is pretty nice is the fall, like a few have said, and has more of a typical "college" feel, by which I mean it's all in one finite square. It has some great looking areas (by Beaumont tower, along E and W Circle), but it just lacks the history and architecture of places like U of M, Northwestern and even Wisconsin. I think downtown Ann Arbor really adds a lot to UM campus and like some of the West coast recruits said, it's not at all what they expected.
Maizedandconfused, looks like you put some time into this, looks interesting. Since you probably know more about our current D players than I do, who do you think will start at LB and DB after watching the film?
If you check out the "Paws for a Cause" link on the same page, Troy Woolfolk talks about spring practice and this summer's prep. He says he's in the best shape he's ever been in and has gotten his speed and acceleration back, which is great news. He also likes animals.
I think our WR depth will take some pressure off of Hoke to play Stonum, whereas Floyd is a monster and ND's clear number 1 reciever. Not to say Stonum isn't a great reciever, but we have 2 WRs that are just as good and a slew of others that can contribute. But damn, Stonum would be great to have paired up with Roundtree and JH.
I agree with you though, I think at least 4 games is appropriate.

In all seriousness, good luck if you're going for it.
Just heard an interesting stat- if ULM beats Auburn (14-14 at half) they will be 2-0 in the SEC West this year.

Rountree switched from 12 --> 21, Gardner switched from 7 --> 12.
Building my tolerance for Dallas

If/When we beat Alabama, I'll be black out drunk in the streets of Dallas.
What is going on in your picture?
Pizza Roll Update: They are as delicious as expected; especially the partially popped open ones.
It just got real up in here...just tossed some MF Pizza Rolls in the oven.
1 vs. 1 Beer Pong
You're a beer snob.
But I'm catching up on Breaking Bad...logged in a solid 4 or 5 hours today. Putting back a few gin and tonics with the wife.
You know you're drunk when you post a Saturday drinking thread on Sunday.

Oh you sweet, sweet, sweet dummie.
This article was posted a few down from here. Don't sweat it Mat(t?), it happens to the best of us.
Although last offseason it was a daily countdown, you make a fair point and I'll stop doing them everyday. Democracy.
I'm sorry my friend, it's just the way it has to be.
They come out with the Big Red Coq (weird name, I know) soon, that's their best beer.
There are
days until Team 133 dominates Alabama in Dallas

Great show and some real ball-busters
One question remains...who the hell is Ace Williams?
DB said in one interview that they will be about 40% larger than the original ones.
