Terrible "good" seats
Drunk M fan behind me - "corner fade! Here comes my corner fade!".....from the 50.
Same dude - "Hail! Hail! to Michigan. The (un decipherable mumble). Everyone always trails off on that part." .... No dude. Just no.
Stadium is junk. Basically, the whole experience was junk. Except for meeting Bob Ohlenroth from the '48 Rose Bowl team. That was cool.
I felt everything Brian did in this post. I had a feeling this post was coming when I was sitting in a non-moving car line and saw Brian walk by. He had the most dissapointed look on his face. I wanted to say hello but couldn't find the right words. So, hello Brian. And goodbye from Tampa.....forever.
I would say if you're in town for the game only, stay near the stadium. If you're in town for longer, stay near or at the beach and you only need transportation on Game day. I would imagine most beach hotels are running shuttles. They want your business.
Pinellas-
Willard's tap house in largo is the best spot in the area by far.
Barley mow brewing co.
Rapp brewing
Seventh sun
Dunedin brewery
Cajun cafe on the bayou
Pegs cantina
I would say stay away from WOB but that's my opinion. I'm a "get off my lawn" sort FWIW.
I miss Sweetwater. That was my main beer when I lived in Atlanta. I hadn't had it in 2 years until I had a lay over in ATL on the way home from the WMU game. They had it on tap at the airport. 2 pints made the short flight to Tampa nice and easy.
I can't quite make out what you are saying. There is no MS Paint attached. You have ruined me. I can't comprehend anything in plain English anymore. I need a visual.
Unfortunately, I haven't found a decent place in the Bay area to watch with M fans. The Alumni site says Press Box is the place but its 30 miles from my house and I drink too much to make that drive on game day. Any one know a place in St. Petersburg?
I live in the Tampa area and would love to see them here in the regular season.
Hopefully...Outback or Citrus this year and Rose or MNC all years after.
He explains that his "power" rankings are fluid and will change from week to week. He is rewarding big wins and punishing losses. Basically, he's saying that M is the 2nd best team in the conference for week 2.
