You're damn right... You're damn right...
You didn't say it had to be a player I'll take Urban Meyer. Partridge could use an assistant ST Coach, and it would be fun to beat Greg Shiano in the shoe.
He was screwing around on his

He was screwing around on his phone while on stage at signing with the stars. Also ripped Herbert for his recent commitment video. I think his major weakness might be leadership/maturity.

He picks the most improbable

He picks the most improbable team totals so that if he ever gets it right it will look amazing. Could you imagine being on record and accurately predicting an 18-4 win? Bragging rights forever.

I like the hire - but I'm

I like the hire - but I'm biased. The first 2 things I look for in a DC are:

1. Loves to Blitz

2. Coaches Baseball

Hopefully when he gets

Hopefully when he gets drafted into the NFL, he can get someone else to pick out his tie.

#7 When Will You Learn - Did you see it?

Peppers executes his job flawlessly (destroy the flat), but did anyone else notice that Ojemudia probably has this as a TFL with an assignment of "rush the passer". INCREDIBLE awareness for a DE to be able to snuff out a WR screen like that.  I guarantee he gets a couple helmet stickers for this - hopefully Brian gives him his due in UFR, which is most important.

I thought it was common knowledge that it was a done deal...

2020 Michigan Staff

HC/OC - Tom Brady

DC - Bill Belichick

Recruiting Co-Ordinator - Gisele Bundchen

Bronzed Statue next to Bo - Jim Harbaugh

Roman is a good coach

I know the Jaguars wanted to give him the head job that eventually went to Gus Bradley. I don't think it is always sound logic to write a coach/OC/DC after one bad year. Roman didn't just forget how to call plays well - its usually more complicated than that, and not always the fault of the coach.

Nuss was the most celebrated OC hire in Michigan history, it didn't work out here, probably for reasons beyond his control. That doesn't mean he isn't a good OC, either.

You have to look at the body of work over a career - Roman's is impressive.

Isaac = Gerhart

Ty Isaac is a very similar runner to Toby Gerhart. Jim seemed to use Toby properly...

This Blog has come a long way.. I remember finding this blog in 2006 it was innovative in the way that it broke down every single play, I thought it was neat. Now the blog actually has a hand in the eventual firing of an Athletic Director. Powerful stuff...
You mean Trenton Thompson, You mean Trenton Thompson, right?
I think I'm missing your point

Ace Sanders (Jacksonville Jaguars)

Height - 5'7

Receptions - 51 (as a rookie)

I'm glad he turned out to be

I'm glad he turned out to be better than what ND fans thought of him. I'll miss Lewan - might be time to change my Avatar.

It's College Football - 0

It's College Football - 0 teams enter the season with a proven player at every position. That's what makes it fun. Darboh is probably really good, and Butt is going to be an impact player in the REC game.

I'm not here to argue that

I'm not here to argue that Borges had a great season - but to point that to the reason Campbell is leaving might not be accurate. Even in a poorly called season, Michigan's #1 WR had these stats:

80 REC, 1284 YRDS, 9TD

Including setting the ALL-TIME record for rec yards in a single game.

Jaguars

They have Denard.

Jaguars

Jaguars - Dee Milliner - Can't afford another top of the draft bust. Tall, Fast, Productive in college. Safe pick.

How does it change my expectations?

I thought they were going to win the BCSNCG without him. Now I'm pretty sure they will win the Super Bowl.

The announcer has no idea

The announcer has no idea what the beanbag is for.

I knew there was something

I knew there was something about him I didn't like...

Ghostwriter

Did anybody else notice the perfect punctuation and assume that Derrick had a ghostwriter? Did anybody else catch the question where said ghostwriter revealed himself as Fred Jackson?

Brandon

We'll be lucky if Brandon lets M send the band. Don't get greedy.

We're here with starting TE Brandon Moore...

I'm going to ask you 8 questions about the past and future TE's and nothing about yourself. I'll then finish with the same Denard question I ask everybody.

Thanks - Besta Luck

Taylor Lewan

Staying for his Senior year?

That would make Team 134 much better.

People at work look at me

People at work look at me weird when I am buckled into the chair behind my desk.

Chesson, Houma, Stribling.

These guys are some of the lowest ranked recruits in our last two exceptional classes and I think they are all going to be major contributors.

Michigan has had their share of 2 or 3 star recruits that turn into great players (Harris, Edwards, etc) but they typically are in-state guys.

Hoke went out of region to scoop these guys with poor offer sheets up. I can't recall any of the previous coaching staffs do that.

AP

With his combination of size, power and quickness - I would think that AP would be one of the  world's best arrest resistors.

Yes

As long as they don't give out the legacy jerseys to anyone - every year.

McQuay III

McQuay is down to USC, Vandy, and M - If Cravens goes to USC does that put us on the inside track for him?

Poggi doesn't need to feel

Poggi doesn't need to feel pressure from Hurst, its obvious that Michigan is recruiting him at RB. Fred Jackson thinks that he is a mix between Refrigerator Perry (but bigger) and Gayle Sayers (but more elusive).

All the fans in Jacksonville

All the fans in Jacksonville have been clamoring for Tebow... Now they got one of the only guys that could beat him in college.

That's what the guys at 11W

That's what the guys at 11W are saying too... Until he commits to Michigan; and then he is the worst player ever.

Right Taco?

I actually don't think Molk

I actually don't think Molk has any respect for his opponents. People always talk about OLineman with 'Mean Streaks' very few actually hurt belittle thier opponent. You can see that Molk gets enjoyment out of hurting guys so bad that they quit. I think he sees Konz and Brewster as his opponents right now.

It's a little twisted, and while I wouldn't want a guy like this to date my daughter,  I'd be more than happy to have him play C on my football team.

Why not Hart?

I'm curious as to why you wouldn't want Mike Hart as HC? He seems to be a pretty good leader and is well respected in the football community.

Shed some light. I don't disagree; I'm just interested why you think this way.

Nice List...

Please add Brian and TomVH into the builders category.

I don't post very often, but I'd like a vote.  I have followed the blog since its beginning.

Rivals needs to update Kenny

Rivals needs to update Kenny Lawler's page.

Kenny Lawler 'reminds us of...' Sam Hurd.

Is it fair to say that recruits should not be compared to criminals? Or are they going to start comparing bruising RBs to OJ Simpson and speedster WRs to Rae Carruth?

Probably not much.

Leaf fans will make the trip down - will account for nearly half the stadium.

You're right - these guys are much too small

Best crowd sign ever...

MSU tears taste like Sugar.

Came at the perfect time too, when the score was 17-6.

Negative for recruiting/team management

Urban has probably had more than a few negative experiences with his players tweeting but I don't think an outright ban is the best response.

High School and College players use Twitter as thier first real glimpse of celebrity - and they enjoy the attention.  To take that away from them can't be good for recruiting/team management. I'm sure that the kids are going to regret some of their tweets, but they will learn to be more responsible.

Hell, I regret the copius amounts of alcohol I consumed on NYE - but the answer isn't to put a ban beer.

High school kids want more responsibility and freedoms - not less. This could potentially hurt Ohio in recruiting.

Ohio

Looks more like they did against Michigan than how they looked at the beginning of the year.

If it gets to OT somehow - I

If it gets to OT somehow - I don't think the game will end this year.

Muppets?

I know that muppets are usually reserved for the home page on special occasions, but I was really stressed out at halftime - and this win was more enjoyable than most. Does anybody feel like muppet-ing this thread?

Thanks!

I'm going to give

Thanks!

I'm going to give it a try.

I'm a Canadian with the same

I'm a Canadian with the same problem. I have the "Super Sports Package" but I'm not so sure that the Michigan game will be on that either.

Are there any other Canadians with a solution to see the game? Otherwise it looks like I'll have to drive to Buffalo to watch the game on ESPN at a bar.

Interesting Question

Probably play a soft zone and wait for Denard to make a mistake. I imagine that this is what most coaches will do with Denard.

We will find out quickly how much improvement he has made throwing the ball.

Ruin the season week one?

Even when M is having a bad season, we can always look ahead to the OSU game. If we beat them, the season can't be considered a total failure.

A loss to OSU week one would make for a hopeless fall.
