I'm at Tom's Urban and have two tickets I'm looking to give away to a Michigan fan. Let me know if you are here and don't have tickets. |

7 weeks 2 days ago | Thank you so much for |
Thank you so much for this. Side-note: do you happen to have the video from the UM-NoDak/UM-UMD frozen four from 2011? I was at the game and used to have the full games from the MGoVideo site but the old computer died and at the time I wasn't thinking about backing the videos up so I lost them and now can't find them anywhere. Well for comparison, last year he projected us to go 7-5. http://insider.espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/id/9227725/ohio-stat... |
4 years 14 weeks ago | Here are the top WRs from his |
Here are the top WRs from his previous stops by year. 2013 Alabama - Amari Cooper: 45 catches, 736 yards, 4 TDs 2012 Alabama - Amari Cooper: 58 catches, 999 yards, 11 TDs 2011 Washington - Jermaine Kearse: 47 catches, 699 yards, 7 TDs 2010 Washington - Jermaine Kearse: 63 catches, 1005 yards, 12 TDs 2009 Washington - Jermaine Kearse: 50 catches, 866 yards, 8 TDs 2008 Fresno State - Seyi Ajirotutu: 47 catches, 795 yards, 5 TDs
Also the highest % of catches of those WRs was 2010 Jermaine Kearse with 30.7% of his team's total catches. It seems Nussmeier's offenses spread the ball around a fair amount (being a one-back style coach generally has 3 WR and 1 TE on the field most of the time). The other years fluctuate from about 17% to 26%. Expect Darboh, Chesson, Funchess and Butt to see a good number of targets their way. Unless Funchess turns into a target monster ala Gallon last year (~38% of team's total catches) the targets will probably be spread out a bit. |

"Ben Gedeon, Jourdan Lewis, and Graham Glasgow all saw time after having been excised (or never in) previous gameplans." Was Graham Glasgow actually in on defense or do you mean Ryan Glasgow? |

I don't even think the Dodgers will pay him that kind of money. |

Actually BF3 is for 360 for me. I will be going PS4 next gen though so BF4 will be on that. Also I hadn't played it in forever and just kinda picked it back up to shake the rust off before BF4 comes out and am loving it all over.
Edit: I am on the West Coast and my game time if I play is generally around 8-9/10 pm. |
4 years 43 weeks ago | Xbox 360/PS3: freernnur5 Will |
Xbox 360/PS3: freernnur5 Will probably be playing NCAA/BF3/The Last of Us when I have time till then next gen consoles come out. Don't think I will do an online dynasty for NCAA as my time to be able to play will be scattered and I don't want to hold a dynasty up. |
4 years 50 weeks ago | I don't know if he was |
I don't know if he was offered a medical hardship by USC but Jarvis Jones comes to mind as a player who transferred because he wasn't going to play again for his school because the USC doctors were uncomfortable clearing him to play again. |

Is this year going to have another article by Chris Brown of Smart Football? Loved the one about the defense and Mattison last year (along with all the other articles). |

When hockey made the Frozen Four in St. Paul we had to show our student id to pick up the tickets. If you buy the ticket it will either be you using it or an empty seat unless you know someone who looks like you (or at least the picture on your id). |
5 years 4 weeks ago | This was an interesting read |
This was an interesting read and good stuff. My only thought is that total yardage might not be the best case to use when looking at balance and play call type might be better if that information is available (is that information easily available?).
I say this because a team can say run the ball few times but big breakaways could make it look like they got a ton of rushing yardage and were balanced when most of the game they ended up passing the ball.
Just a thought. Still was very cool to peruse the stats. |

5 years 23 weeks ago | The LA Coliseum was built for |
The LA Coliseum was built for the Olympics originally (1932 and then later 1984) and not intended solely for football. As such the field and track is a larger area than a football field so certain sections are very far away. I sat in one of those sections for the USC vs. Oregon game and it feels very far away. Was a really cheap seat though. |

5 years 24 weeks ago | No that Scout article doesn't |
No that Scout article doesn't mention WR. Those I have inferred from info collected via 247Sports and ESPN. The article is VIP'd on 247Sports but it says something to the effect of Urban Meyer saying he could play offense and later on stating that Gareon is liking offense a lot. I am not a sub on Scout so I couldn't read that article but the header and information I have gotten about the article is basically that his dad likes Michigan. |
5 years 24 weeks ago | It says he was supposed to |
It says he was supposed to call the coaches tonight and discuss it. Scout has an article where Mr. Conley says he loves Michigan and it sounds like he would like his son to stick with Michigan. So far I have heard nothing else of him talking to the coaches so nothing has changed yet.
Also of note, if he were to visit OSU, he will also visit Oregon. I actually think that Oregon is in better position than OSU because that is out near his mother (seems that for Oregon and OSU he would be playing on offense, while for us he would be playing on defense). |

5 years 29 weeks ago | I think the hope was that |
I think the hope was that Borges throughout last year learned what he could and couldn't do with Denard and ended the season on a high note (not inluding VT) with great games against OSU and Nebraska. With that ending and another full offseason together I am sure people expected the offense to perform as well as it did in those games, especially with most of the offense returning. |

5 years 34 weeks ago | It is interesting but I have |
It is interesting but I have a couple thoughts: 1. No Landry Jones in the Top 5 Pocket Passers 2. No TJ McDonald in the Top 5 Safeties 3. In his all college team, his whole defensive line is defensive ends. Not one defensive tackle.
Wonder why he did those, maybe oversights, maybe not. At least it opens up my eyes to some new guys to watch for, i.e. some of the UNC players, or David Amerson for example. |
5 years 39 weeks ago | I have found that the Read |
I have found that the Read Option in the Shotgun - Normal Flex Wing formation is the closest to the "Inverted Veer" that we ran to success against OSU and Nebraska. I use it, and it is my favorite form of Read Option. As for passing, my favorite play is Levels Divide. I get a zone killer on one side with the dual ins, and on the other side I stretch the field and both routes have options. |

Still waiting on the OS rosters to start. Will be playing as UCLA as we all agreed Michigan was off limits. |
