This list is completely arbitrary and not a genuine analysis of the relative merits of state fossils.

We haven't played a great team at home in 2 years either. It's a cool streak, but I don't think we should be beating our chest about marquee victories over an ND team coming off of a loss to USF, an 6-6 MSU team who may or may not have fielded an offense, a 6-6 OSU team, and a fringe top 25 Northwestern. Those were all incredible games to witness as a Michigan fan, but its not exactly some unprecedent streak of Michigan home dominance. |

No, it's okay, you are getting a 1-2 dollar donut for your time in line. |

Student tickets are already assigned to each student, why would you need to link it to an MCard? |
| 3 weeks 5 days ago | I am graduating but mostly |
I am graduating but mostly think it is a stupid reason in principle: 1) A true GA is unfair to the upperclassmen who theoritically had to sit higher up regardless of how early they should up. 2) Any time you create a system that involves waiting in line, which is just a complete waste of time, when alternatives exist, you have likely failed 3) Drunk sorority girls will likely still find ways to game the system 4) I don't understand why they can't find ways to award people for showing up early based on when their tickets are scanned Also, to the whole "the AD would get more money by cutting the student section because they are priced below market value", that is true, but this (allegedly) amateur athletics. Do you know what else is priced below market value? The "pay" for the athletes on the field.

While I agree with your conclusion, how would this system allow you to measure the number of students that attend every game as opposed to the old system? Tickets are scanned either way and I'm sure that is how the come up with the numbers. |

Clearly standing in line is the best way of determining how much people enjoy things. |

This is so stupid. Why force students to waste their time waiting in line. Additionally, there will be monitoring costs to having people make sure people aren't cheating the line. |

6 years isn't that long of a contract these days, especially for a franchise goalie. Besides, Howard is only 29, he will likely start to fall out of his prime right when his contract ends. |
| 4 weeks 6 days ago | While Hossa clearly had |
While Hossa clearly had world-class skill, he had just pulled a disappearing act during two straight Stanley Cup Finals, while Franzen was dominating in the playoffs. |

I thought the contract was pretty ideal, 5 mil for a goalie of Howard's caliber is well worth it. |

Hey probably meant turned out better as in Hoke would have left Minnesota after only one year. |

I don't think MSU has a good chance with Henderson or O'Connor(Conner?), and Durkin looks to be leaning towards Northwestern. I could see Kizer going there, depending on who else offers him. I think ultimately they will land a very solid plan B guy. |

4 star QBs are a dime a dozen. Almost every QB who signed to a B1G school last year was a 4 star and EMU signed a 4 star. Also, the rankings are still at a very early stage, who knows where he ends up? |

Just because you are a succesful head coach doesn't mean you would be a good coordinator. Cristobal, like Hoke and several other coaches, has no coordinator experience. |

NW and ILL had bad games against us and I wouldn't say Minnesota was on top of their game. Also, our defense is terrible. |

Several people have posted other studies, not to mention the case evidence from many former players and pretty intuitive conclusions that you could draw regarding brain damage and repetitively hitting your head. |
| 15 weeks 1 day ago | The article claims there is |
The article claims there is no evidence. That is in no way correct. If it claimed that the evidence was not conclusive or called into question the evidence then it would be defensible. Also, evidence isn't restricted to "factual studies". |

Where did you get that figure from? I don't think the AD even comes close to that in revenue let alone surplus |
| 16 weeks 1 hour ago | I think it is more of a ploy |
I think it is more of a ploy by the sensationalist author to generate more pageviews. If you notice, many of the quotes from administration officials note that they need to make some changes to improve their financials. This author takes those quotes, puts in the amount of debt, and claims their financial situation is dire, when in fact they are actually doing well compared to all the programs out there, though poorly for UTk. |

Michigan has a larger stadium and more debt |
| 16 weeks 4 hours ago | This article is misleading |
This article is misleading and its shocking how people automatically think debt is bad or how finances work for large organizations. Michigan's AD debt for 2012 was 206.5 million dollars. UTk AD's finances aren't very healthy but they still have 2 million in cash, have been paying 7 million dollars a year to the university(which it mentions they will temporarily suspend), have already made a move that will save a projected 5 million dollars, and have pretty incredible assets. |
