Tomorrow I expect Florida State to receive a commitment from Virginia linebacker E.J. Levenberry.
The ‘Noles have been recruiting EJ Levenberry since the end of his freshman year. He and the FSU staff have a longstanding relationship, he’s come to games and recently spent an entire week in Tallahassee with his family. Levenberry’s strongest relationship is with FSU DL coach Odell Haggins.
I feel there are things that Levenberry likes about both Michigan and Florida State. However, the fact that Michigan doesn’t have Levenberry’s major, is a big plus for FSU’s chances.
Levenberry’s announcement will take place tomorrow at 3pm. I’ll update this if something changes between now and his announcement.
When people make a statement with why FSU underachieved last season and mention they dont develop players thats just not accurate..Losses along the Oline and the QB was killer for FSU while playing as many freshman as anyone not named clemson(youngest team in fbs last year) not to make excuses though just think no one ever gets deep. Now what Hoke did was impressive no question.
Debatable for sure....and ND had the claim if Lynch would have stayed....Bama and Mich have been the 2 best in lb recruiting over the last 2 cycles no doubt..
FSU has been one of if not the best recruiting teams over 2-3 years of quality...Michigan is getting back on that level....FSU doesnt NEED LBs like everyone says they already have 2 and are in it for 2 others....Michigan signed the BEST LB corp over the last 2 cycles including this one...FSU signed the BEST collection of DL prospects over the last 2 cycles....Odell Haggins is the guy recruiting him the same guy who brought in Goldman and flipped Darby....Mattison used to be at UF and is an excellent recruiter so he is used to the pressure coaches put on kids down here...This one is going the distance no matter who this kid commits to tomorrow...either way someone is getting a 2.5-3 year starter at Mike.
back in 2003-2008 Rivals and Scout were the standard......ESPN has a strangle hold on the media and they rate the south kids higher and why wouldnt they the Southeast produces the best talent.
Once levenberry chooses a snowball will come....I dont know if we catch yall but our class should be up there in the top 5..we have 8 commits at this time and will take a full class 27 or so.FSU
not a troll just followed this kid for awhile and FSU was on him longer than any school...Mich would be a great choice as well but early pt is at fsu...I think this comes down to who this kid is playing with..Father made a statement last year that said defensive talent is going to be a factor. kid can't go wrong at fsu...they are are top 5 D and will play with some very talented defenders...wouldn't want to play behind that d-line?
mich recruited 6+ linebackers over 2years so it all came down to pt and what he will be playing with. That major thing helped too somewhat
fsu is bringing in 4....they want Matthew Thomas (miami-fl) more than any other backer
