Yes 1:1 is average for people. It is not average for great basketball players. Over the years it seemed wingspan ratio, more than height, was the best indicator to making it to the top. So I have been loosely paying attention to that stat and it holds true.
The NBA has more people with 1.1:1 wingspan than 1:1. For more reference, that distribution is skewed high among the NBA range where 1.12:1 was recently the max in the NBA and 1.03:1 was the min in recent NBA drafts. The NBA is heavily populated with the largest wingspan ratios from a total population that averages 1:1.
I loved the troll site. That was a nice touch. So far the new site seems like a sizable improvement. Thanks for all the hard work mgoblog team and good job HUEL!

My sister delivered her second child at Genesis and it was a good experience for her.
My wife was induced and I advise 3 things:
1) Be prepared it could take a while, like 24-36 hours. Not of pushing, but the whole process. And, unfortunately for you wife, the contractions can be a significant chunk of that.
2) If the staff wants to try something or give your wife something simply ask "Why?" and "What are the alternatives?" Let your wife make the decisions and provide your input when asked. Look up the possible drugs and procedures ahead of time and it is less to think about while going through it.
3) You are there for emotional and physical support for her. If something makes her comfortable outside of being pregnant it may help during induction too, like a hot shower or music or whatever.

It is a sweet poster dunk!! Terrible video quality though.
Our defense has not been the same since he left. His D intensity and effectiveness was only ever matched by Trey; and only when he would go into berserker mode to close out a game like MSU.
Is Draftageddon here to highlight how good the rest of the content on MGoBlog is? It works.
I'm sure it is fun for you guys, but seeing it as the latest post is a bit like opening a terrible handmade sweater on Christmas that you know you have to wear.
That is their combine measurement. At the combine they measure everyone in exactly the same way and obvioulsy they don't round much. You can add 1 or 2 inches to most of those to get their listed high school and college heights. Which leads us back to the 6'5" or over mantra for a tackle.
Him go against Craft. Last year he was able to bother Trey a bit, but it doesn't look like that will be the case this year. He has too many moves and too many weapons around him this year.
I never knew Ford was 48 until this. New kids wearing the number will keep their legend fresh in peoples' minds. Especially since no where prominent was it displayed who was retired.
The first is saying that a playoff system is pointless because of the logistics of football. You just can't have a large enough playoff field and the factors of outdoor play are too drastic to come up with a consensus most deserving champion. There are still a ton of factors that will make people unhappy that their team didn't get a "fair" opportunity.
The second is saying, he is fine with adding "playoff" games, he just doesn't think it is a true playoff. And the "if that makes people happy" comment doesn't mean everyone will be happy with the results, it just means people are upset and they want that change so he is fine with making it.
In summary to both statements he doesn't care if they do a mini playoff, but he thinks people will still be complaining in the end.
I didn't even look at the comments. I stopped reading ESPN comments years ago. Often they are a depressing indicator of how pathetic people can be, just cutting anyone or anything down with the great bravado they possess standing behind the anonymity of the internet.

Franz is 6' 9" with a 6' 11.5" wingspan.
And boom goes the dynamite.

Hopefully that is enough time to build some OL depth and then yes, bring it on.

Oops, meant reply to Mitchamaniac.
Ha! Nice use of the Apple keyboard's suggested next word.

So that's what happens when the little piggy says he's going to the market instead of coming home.

That explains him rocking a boot at Dominick's after the Spring Game. I hope it heals quick so he can get back on the field.
I like the use of Nuggetry but overall it lacks a little luster. How about...
"Mid-week Number Nuggets"
"Mid-week Nuggetnometry "
"Mid-week Mathleticism"
That's what I've got on quick thought.
