Peppers at 10, which seems low.

GMAT only went to ND b/c his son wanted to go to ND and they offered to pay his tuition if his dad came with. Don't know that he would have left otherwise. I do remember him saying this would be his last gig and now the timing is right. Will probably retire within a week or so.

|2 years 38 weeks ago||Lets keep in mind what Hoke||
Lets keep in mind what Hoke did with the last of the class that Carr recruited. RR was the worst hire we could have made and in my opinion and we are still feeling the effects. RR had no idea how to recruit lineman. The o line play was horrible and has been for 2 years now.
|2 years 38 weeks ago||I still think that Dantonio||
I still think that Dantonio is riding the wave of recruiting success that RR caused. When Carr recruited Michigan it was for two reasons, one was because of a belief that local boys would play harder because they grew up watching, and rooting for the wolverines, but he also knew that if they were playing for Michigan they weren't playing for Sparty or the Bucks. RR never got that and so a lot of kids that are now juniors and seniors on that team are on that team because RR never offered them. Granted kids like Gholston and Cousins were never going to go to Michigan because they grew up hating us but I would venture to guess that a lot of these kids would have been blue had we hired Hoke 6 years ago instead of RR. I think in the next 2 years, MSU will be back to being a 7 win school every year. All of that being said, yes I do believe that MD is the best thing that has happened to MSU since Saban.

Still the best recruiting pitch ever.

There is no mistaking that Denard was exactly what we needed over the last few years to try to recover from the utter destruction of every record that our school held so dear. That being said, however, I have been so excited to see this offense be built around someone who was a quarterback who could run as opposed to a running back who could throw. I love DRob and sincerely thank him for all that he did on and off the field but lets face it, he was not much of a threat on passing downs unless there were angels in the field with him. Devin seems to be a really good next step for our program and i am very excited for the future.
|3 years 8 weeks ago||did you forget about his luck against RR?||
RR owned the Big East until he left. That was when Kelley started rocking it at Cinncy. As bad as RR was here he never lost to Kelley. ND only got the better of us last year because of turnovers. We gave up 6 TOs and only lost by a TD. When we gave up that many to Weiss in 08 at least he was able to capitilize in it. Kelley can't even manage to keep his team together.

Year 4 anyway
|3 years 8 weeks ago||not to be a negative nelly,||
But I am far more interested in what they do on the field. I get what you are looking for but lets be honest, a 5* kid who does nothing on the field is far worse than a 3* who rocks it. Kelvin Grady is a perfect example.

Well I would definitely say that you scientifically proved that you are overly superstitious.

Just keep in mind that Nick Saban was quoted (IIRC) 3 times as stating that he had no desire to go back to the college level.

I had a conversation with a razorback fan the other day, where I pointed out that he was missing the bright side of the whole JLS debacle. He inquired what the bright side could be, and I replied "Well at least at this rate you won't have to worry about getting ready for a bowl game, so it frees up a lot of time to look for a new coach." He did not see the humor in the statement.

If I were the HC they would run me out of town and the world's largest outcry would come to bring BH back.
#1 or 2 no not this year.
Helmet stickers yes. Helmet numbers no
Alternate uniforms on the condition that they are used as either a recruiting tool or a method of surprise to throw off the other team. or both
My coordinators........ duh.........no brainer........ the ones we got dude.
As far as the whole what type of offense I would run I am smart enough to know that I know less than nothing about anything so I would defer all decisions to my oober smart staff and I would hide in my office, until the crowd outside, mutilated Dave Brandon for hiring me.
Given my choice I'll keep running my machine at work and let the great men that are our beloved UM coaches, just do what they do.

I recently talked to a die-hard UF fan who told me that we better get ready to hate Urban because he would "own us". I went ahead and told him that I already hate him and then reminded him that Urban is 0-1 against UM.
|3 years 49 weeks ago||I think that we will have to wait and see.||
At the end of the day, I think the only way to say if the punishment was adequate is to see if it happens again. If we are having this discussion again next year, we will know that it wasn't enough. On the other hand, I would hate to think that the team lost a winnable game over the defending national champs because of a mistake made by one person.
|3 years 50 weeks ago||I Have to say||
It took long enough. I was starting to think that this staff would never get anyone to commit for 2014. You really have to wonder if this staff knows what they're doing. Nearly half way through the 2013 class and they're just now now starting to focus in 2014. I mean REALLY.

I typically want sparty alum off my porch as quick as possible so i tip well enough to shut them up and get them on their way.
|3 years 51 weeks ago||may be interesting to see what happens||
It is very possible that we have some attrition this year once the season gets rolling. Please don't take this the wrong way, that is not what I am hoping for, but I wouldn't be surprised if someone buried on the depth chart opted to transfer for more play time.
|3 years 51 weeks ago||wish the kid nothing but the best.||
Kind of wierd though, how he wanted nothing to do with UM as a recruit and now he is going to go play for an alum that most UM fans want nothing to do with.

Does that include the girl in the bottom pic that is being urinated upon. Kind of weird dude

I get the feeling that you're trying to say something about their ability to pull in the best recruits in the nation.

Typically I sing "The Victors" whenever I hear something cool like this, but in light of this news can I just say "What I got, you got to give it to your momma".

We are currently at 21 commits with the addition of a long snapper. I believe what you are referring to is David Dawson (iirc) made a comment on twitter that there would be someone joining soon and the assumption by some was that it would be Poggi which came to pass.

I live in Arkansas and I have had about all I can take of the whole "SEC is the best" BS. I would love to beat the best the Shitty Education Confrence has had to offer over the last 7 years. That being said, until we are up by 4 touchdowns with less than 5 minutes left in the game I will be wearing a hole in the carpet during every game.

Out of principle I dont give out my email but can I Just say "wow". That would be sweet. I have read other posts similar to this one and they all seem to say the same thing. That he is exactly the same on the field or in front if the camera as he is off the field. Congrats on the cool events. I just can't help but love this guy.
|4 years 9 weeks ago||Denard will wear #1||
And play wr. Mealer has slimmed down so much that he is now moving into the qb spot and Gardner has put on enough weight that he is taking on Mealers spot on the line. It is the only logical explanation.
