Also, I don't think Donnal will be on the bench for all that long...

Out of all of the team's bigs, he is probably the only one who has a legitimate long range jump-shot...

I am just imagining having a legitimate bench scoring option in Irvin instead of just a shot in the dark at who may light it up for a game....

This may sound crazy, too, but if Tim sticks around, I wouldn't be surprised if Irvin started over Stauskas...

Irvin is really, really, really good.

Another thing I really like about Donnal is that he has a legitimate jumpshot...

I think that having Donnal out there with the true ability to shoot the 3 ball/score outside of the paint will give us the ability to play bigger at times... I know people say Beilein doesn't like to play Morgan and McGary together at the same time because it slows down the offense and its ability to shoot the 3 from anywhere...If Donnal can actually shoot like its being reported, I wouldnt be surprised if we saw this lineup a lot.

On Mark Donnal...I think he is a lot more athletic than he is given credit for...

My roomate is a DIE HARD Kansas fan, so I've watched almost all of their games...

Kansas is a very streaky team, and when they are off, they are horrible... Like Michigan @ MSU horrible.

Travis Releford is usually a good indicator of how they are playing...

He is an outstanding defender and will make life tough for Tim Hardaway

I thought Kyle Bosch looked fantastic... It wouldn't shock me to see him compete for that open guard spot.

Even in the reps he 'lost' (which were still pretty close, IMO), he really cracked the guy... Physically, he looks a mirror image of Kalis...

Also, I believe the talk of LTT losing all that weight...Looks like him trimmed down a ton...

Ross Douglas looks a lot bigger than I thought, and I think all the DT's looked good...

The part that irks me the most is Coach B sitting on the sideline in silence with a confused/ concerned look on his face... I know it's not his style, but PLEASE YELL AT SOMEONE! This team is so soft and really doesn't need you to pat them on the back after blowing a 11 pt lead to end th half down by 4.

I understand the complaints, but when these mascots are all gone, what happens to the idea of Native Americans in our current culture? Outside of sports teams and these mascots (whether you think they're tasteful or not), Native Americans are not very prevalent in our nation's culture. I think that as these dissapear, so does the mention of Native Americans in general..... Who knows.

I think Khalid Hill will end up surprising a lot of people on this board... He has been extremely productive, and I think that his athleticism is underrated.

As for the rest of the class, I have no idea how it could close out, but there always, always, always seems to be a late surprise... It doesnt seem like we have any wavering commits (outside of Poggi potentially), but I am sure there will be a random addition... Possibly an in-state/Ohio kid?

This may sound pessimistic, but watching Bama just makes me feel sad.... haha

I thought Dawson and Denson were the best in the video with Kugler close behind.

Dawson is a nasty ass player, too. The ways he went after Montravious Adams and Dee Liner were pretty impressive. Those are two 5 Star DTs, and he either stood them up or shoved them aside.

I actually didn't think LTT looked THAT horrible, though. It is much easier to play Guard in the drills because the guy is lined up right over you. The DE's have a lot more space to work with and can get past the tackles pretty easily. Notice how all the Tackles looked pretty poor. 

Poggi has been getting praise all week, has ended rumors of a wavering committment, and has somehow gotten Reuben Foster to even look at us....

I'm not in the 'run them out of town camp,' but that Nebraska game was an enormous coaching debacle...

We were absolutely 100% unprepared for Denard going down... Taking your 2yr back-up QB and giving him virtually zero snaps at QB because he was quasi-helping our offense is just stupid.

We weren't even competitive in that game after Denard went down, and with that, our coaches put our season in the hands of Bellomy, MSU, and PSU.... 

Just stupid.

However, this coaching staff is 1000000000times better than Richy...So, just no...

Rumors out of last summer were that Horford was going to start over Morgan before the injury bug(s).... If he is as good (or even half as good as some people are saying), we will have some real depth with the Big Guys... Is this real life?

Also, Stauskas has been my favorite recruit for a long time if that matters at all haha

The fact that he has already visited multiple times as a rising soph and a soph is pretty cool....

At that age, I was on JV football, and thought it was sweet when I scored like 4 TD's that year... (-_-)

1. Valenti, although a huge douche at times, is harder on his teams than anyone else. He has grilled MSU all season long.

I know Rivals has him listed as a 4* DT, but I remember hearing that we recruited him on the OL, anyway...

Their mood swings are worse than this board's.... which is hard to believe, sometimes....

I absolutely love Hoke's no-vist policy because that serves as an insurance when kids decide their word means nothing.

As a recruit, you're in a win/win situation when you 'commit' (or whatever you want to call it)...You can secure a spot in a class while exploring every other option..

I don't mind if kids want to be careful in making their decisions, because I would do the same... BUT DO NOT COMMIT UNLESS YOU WANT TO GO THERE

As a result, some Purdue fans smuggled a bunch of beers in during the 4th quarter and gave us some... Realized a lot of people were doing the same... At least where we were.

I also know DB basically crushed all discussions of an MSU night game this year, but it is still a little odd that the time is still TBA less than 2 weeks away from the game....

I do think Kovacs looked a little slow out there....

Obviously, the defense played really well as a whole, but there were a few plays that TerBush completed passes, and Kovacs was pretty far behind his guy...
