That would be a nice problem to have, 67 guys try to commit at once and be able to hand pick the 23 guys you really want... until then if someone we've offered this early at a position of need wants to commit I'd assume we'd accept it.
I would think that by offering Godin this early the coaching staff would honor a commitment. That's why they offered isn't it? If they were holding out for someone else it wouldn't make sense to throw an offer out.
Cass also had 4* db Dior Mathis head out to Oregon last year. So we're not getting all their top guys. But maybe us having so many dbs already committed had a play in his decision.
Be tough to get top overall class when recruiting sites grades are affected by total number of recruits and SEC teams have 33 to our 22 recruits. Top 10 is possible though.
Tom, has Kent Turene, LB from Boyd Anderson, Dorsey's hs, been offered yet? last i heard he was waiting for one but that was a while ago. he seems like a pretty good prospect in a position of need. i just haven't read anything bout him lately. thanks.
