We lost the game in the first 5 min. We were up 10-4 but we had 5 easy missed shots from in the paint and we turned the ball over 3 times in the first five minutes of the game instead of putting UCLA out of their misery we should of been up 20-4 at that time and totally deflate UCLA. Instead we were only up 10-4 and letting UCLA hang around and that is when Junzang decides to have an out of body experience and shows the world how to put the ball in the net without missing.

Blaming the refs is a very poor excuse ...  hit your free throws , make easy shots in the paint and don't turn the ball over and you will win the game easily

He lived longer then many of his contemporaries, but a full life I don't know about that he ended up having both his legs amputated due to complications of high blood pressure and diabetes in 2011

Here are SI Day 2 Elite 11 Rankings , JJ is Ranked number 2 on Day 2

I just saw End of the game and I just saw Mitchell talking to all the players on the Michigan team.
#4 Mitchell
Well Horford

Well Horford is gone , and he was one of those pics, there goes the theory that they are all staying.

Good Luck Horford

Could he just be transfering so he can do his Post Graduate at a school that ha sthe progam he is taking where as Michigan may not have his post grad program.

Fab 5

I have nothing against the Kentucky Freshman, but the biggest difference between them and the Fab 5 is Everybody who followed College Basketball was able to name all 5 Members of the Fab Five, not many people can name the 5 Freshman of the Kentucky team since Lee has only played 1 minute of this entire tournament before the Michigan Game, and Johnson wasn't too involved in the rotation until late in the season.

The Kentucky Freshman come in way more Heralded then the Fab 5 accourding to thier All American Rankings out of highschool , but what the Fab 5 did was change the entire landscape of college basketball.

Because of the Fab Five , the baggy shorts, the bald heads the Blck socks on Black shoes are all still instilled into todays game, and it all changed because of the Fab Five.

Webber, Rose Howard King and Jackson.

I will be

Sitting in section 420 .... driving up tomorrow morning ... don't know how Michigan friendly any section will be since Kentucky travels well and they are only 2 hours away.

Great Job

GO BLUE

Tom Crean ...

Evertime I look at Crean he reminds me of Tom Arnold for some reason.

Thank You

Thank you for everything you and the team have done for us the fans this year .... It was one heck of a ride.

What goes through their mind.

Maybe just maybe the millions of dollars they can earn would be a big reason for a 18-20 year old to leave , also it is a dream for them to go to the NBA so when they get that opportunity many would jump at it.

Thank You

Thank you Seniors.

   GO BLUE!!!!!

This was a great season

The team should be so proud of how they represented the University and how they have made Michigan Basketball relevant again.

Burke will leave ... what more does he have to prove(besides a national championship) he has racked up every award possible in his 2 seasons.

Tim Hardaway Jr. should come back ... but may leave to pursue an NBA career

Glen Robinson & Mitch McGary would both serve well if they came back for one more year.

All in all I believe we lose 2 of the 4 players my guess would be Burke & Hardaway.

GO BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!

No Excuse

When you are up 15 points in the second half to a team that hasn't won a conference game all season, you should not lose period. Bad reffereeing or not.

He May of

He plead Guilty to a lesser charge , but in the same right why did he pay off two families if he was not guilty of the two men being stabbed to death ... his two friends were both aquitted.

Besides all that I believe Ray Lewis is a First Ballott Hall of Famer .

#3 in Coaches Poll

Michigan is #3 in the Coaches Poll behind Duke and Kansas

My favorite is

Magnus .... but I sure do miss RDT LOL.

Alan Trammell

Along with Cal Ripken and Robin Yount -- both Hall of Famers -- Trammell was at the forefront of changing shortstop from a good-glove, light-stick position to one that could be productive offensively. His offensive numbers were far better in every facet than those of Ozzie Smith, and his defense was on par (though he wasn't as flashy) ... yet Ozzie sailed into Cooperstown on his first ballot and Trammell is on his 12th ballot with just 36 percent of the vote last year? I'm not alone in thinking this is a crime

Jack Morris

The fact that Morris earned more wins than any pitcher in the 1980s speaks to his dominance. So does the fact that he was an ace pitcher on three different World Series winners ('84 Tigers, '91 Twins, '92 Blue Jays) and the fact that he made 14 opening day starts (tied for second all-time with Steve Carlton, Randy Johnson, Walter Johnson and Cy Young, behind Tom Seaver's 16). Voters have not yet adjusted to starting pitchers in the DH-era of the American League (it was introduced in 1972), which helps explain Morris' 3.90 ERA. But Sports Illustrated's Tom Verducci researched a piece this winter and noted several things about Morris, including that in 50 seasons of the 162-game schedule (going back even before the DH), only two pitchers exceeded Morris working eight or more innings in 248 starts: Jim Palmer and Bert Blyleven. As Verducci notes, Morris worked eight or more innings in 52 percent of his starts over 14 seasons. That is dominant, Hall of Fame stuff.

Lions should look at

For the Lions first Pick @ #5 i would take Damontre Moore, DE/OLB, Texas A&M

second pick @ #  36 I would take  Barret Jones, G/C/OT, Alabama     if he is still available then with my third pick     @ #65 I would take a huge gamble and jump on Tyrann Mathieu, CB, LSU        He is a huge gamble but without a number 4 pick he could come in help out right away and also be a kick returner to replace Logan.

Denard is special he deserves a play in his Final Home Game

I would be happy for them to get him in for victory formation at the end of the game ... to just have the ball in his hands to finish off his Michigan career at the BIG HOUSE.

I heard a story about Denard today ... it was in his freshman year and after everyone on the team cleared out of the locker room he was always the last one to leave he would sit around and the student trainers would tell him that he could leave, he would then tell them no but he would rather stay and help them straighten up the locker room for he didn't help Michigan on the football field that day and at least this way he can say he helped Michigan in someway that day by helping the trainers straighten up the locker room and put things away.

What a very humble and sincere guy.

That is what I will miss about Denard, his true love for Michigan and everything he gave on the field and the fact that he was a true , honest and sincere MICHIGAN MAN.

You will be missed #16 when you leave this University. GO BLUE.

Unfourtunatly...

I would want ohio to win for one ohio has no chance of going to the Big Championship and it would give Michigan State a loss in the conference.

I'm not cheering for niether team....just want to see one as in Michigan State lose more then ohio.

If it benifits Michigan in any given way I am all for it.

 GO BLUE

PeeWee

They are saying it is Ondre Pipkins... moving all extremities, hopefully it is just for precautionary reasons, and pray for Pipkins to recover quickly. God Bless

If these fools

Would of took a Page out of Craig James book they wouldn't have this problem.

The First...

The first hat I would sport the rest of the hats not a chance.

Can't wait to see him wear the winged helmet. #GOBLUE

Don't Stop Believing

The only place South Detroit is Windsor.

Wow I have to agree with

Wow I have to agree with others on this post, hearing that story makes it hard to despise MSU, I wish your cousin a speedy recovery and may god be with her and give her the stength and courage to get through this.

And my hats off to Dantonio and his MSU football team players coaches and staff, that is a class act.

           But still GO BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
