Ugh, I'm a little over halfway through right now. I read the first three books in about a week each on my commute to work. This book feels like a chore to read and I've been reading it for about a month. That said, I highly recommend the Dunk and Egg series - three short stories (so far) written by Martin that take place in the same universe about 90 years before A Game of Thrones. Read the first one novella before A Feast for Crows since the fourth book has some spoilers for the mini-series that takes away from a few of the reveals. |

I'd guess they're lining the sides with a permeable layer so that the sound from the speakers can get through. Even if they stick with the semi-transparent panels, they will be a lot harder to see through when the sun isn't lighting them from both sides. |

This summer has been awful for sunshine. The past two summer were great, so we do get sun from time to time. For a sandwich, definitely check out Paseo's in Fremont, but be prepared to wait in line. Lunchbox Labratory near the REI in South Lake Union (apparently the one up in Ballard is closed now) has some good burgers and I assume their sandwiches are pretty good. |

Well, I got my copy of ESPN in the mail today; the cover matches the picture in the tweet. There's a two page spread to start the article which has pictures of various people related to violations and controversy. Unfortunately, it includes a picture of RichRod. Michigan is mentioned in the article a few times. We're referenced once when talking about Bruce Pearl's contract termination (also a mention of Tennessee's blowout loss in the tournament) and there's an allusion to the Ed Martin scandal as well. There's also a list of teams punished by the NCAA since last May and Michigan is listed: "Michigan: Exceeding coaching staff limits, practice-season violations, unethical conduct, failure to monitor" About half of the article focuses on OSU, so the schadenfreude is strong with this one (with bonus picture of Tressel in their spring game camo abomination). I wish we weren't mentioned, but it's probably worth picking up for the cover alone |

Agreed. Looking back through his posts, he has very few reactions and comments. Sounds like a guy who's passionate for football, but has latched on to the Gruden rumor and is hoping it's true. Until I see Chucky with a knife in his hand, stabbing a picture of Brutus and announcing he's our head coach, I'm going to consider this a pipe dream. I think Gruden would be a great hire, but a pipe dream none-the-less. |
