I've always called Avila "hot garbage" bc his at bats reek...it's morphed into "hot garb" now.

Fast before slow ensures the wave reaches it's zenith at concentric. Going into slow before fast lessens the pace and interest wanes quickly.

Devin must be more accountable, his inability to provide all of the offense last year was embarrassing.

It's not your standard sitcom, in that it has a pantheon of stories and characters that interconnect in a way that's more like a sci-fi type of series. I've never seen a show with so many obscure callbacks and lots of its references tip off that the writers and showrunners are my age (late 30s).
I really enjoyed the finale...it did exactly what it needed to do...let us see this hopeless romantic finally meet his destiny (the Mother) and then realize his destiny (Robin).
This also fully explains the reason for Ted to be TELLING his kids about meeting their mother. If she's in the other room, it's kind of a lame story that they should be telling together (or at least interrupting at some point). Because she's been gone for 6 years, it makes much more sense.
Side note: It's wild that the actors playing the kids have known the ending for years. (They filmed that scene years ago before they aged out of the roles.)
Maybe I'm biased because my mother died when I was in high school and I would have LOVED for my father to tell me their story.

I should have two AB degrees from M but second one was never conferred due to professor leaving for another gig. He never filed my final 3 credit independent study course. He's dead now so unlikely never getting that history degree.
|17 weeks 1 day ago||None of those||
Ever graduated from michigan and then did a grad year at second school while working out pre draft in Ann Arbor.
|18 weeks 1 day ago||Indeed||
It was pretty unreal four years...BUT it was also the post Fab Five era of suckitude coupled with the Cleaves incident, the cratering of the program from Traylor/Taylor/Bullock for more than a decade. So you get the GREAT and then you remember Conlan and Bullock never going to class, even having other people take their midterms for them and remember what Fisher/Ellerbee allowed in terems of student athletes. And then you just sigh and remember the subs and that they are crazy and you thank the stars for John Beliein.

It's been happening for awhile now but more so lately...you have to burst on the scene to win the grid an. It's no longer the best player but the best breakout player.

Why? I'd venture 15-20% were osu...felt like more very few times. Anyone saying 35-40% is hyperbolic at best.

My 10-year-old son took this loss much harder than I did. It was his first OSU game in person and he bawled afterward. He'd only seen one loss in person before (App State) and he cried there too.
My biggest "beef" with the anti-"good loss" crowd regarding this game is that many are the same people who are just pessimistic in general. They are the ones who assumed we'd get our asses handed to us by "big bad OSU" and when we didn't, and came within one play of winning, aren't happy in any way.
I'm not happy with a loss, and it's rather excruciating to see some of the containment issues and coverage snafus that led to many of the Buckeye points Saturday, but man did I love my Michigan team this weekend. That was Michigan football, even if we came up a point short. That is a game worthy of this rivalry.
Like a diarist said this weekend, the 2013 season might be pretty similar to 2005...where a few close losses and close wins set up a team that isn't losing that many seniors to great things in 2014...even with a tough schedule on the road.

Have one color so it's easy. M is like Iowa or Illinois or auburn, two colors so fans wear some of each. Better than the 90s when everyone wore white & gray!

She and her younger sis have both been all state and have said they want to play together in college. Kalabraya is 53 in super 60 and kryse is 22 in top 25 for 2016.

In limited snaps...seemed the safety swapping was a little random but good. Jake Ryan in pass coverage is laughable.

Why not go another inning? He's already trash for game 5, have him pitch the 9th and don't give oakland more looks & confidence against Benoit.

Likely would've played RT so Schofield would've flipped to LT. So likely he's #3 T just for that reason...having experience at LT is critical in a game like that.

Knight never wore it...Alexander did have #40 as a freshman, because McMurtry was a senior. Point understood though. SIAP of course.
Strangely, no one wore it for 50 straight years. (all per Bentley)
1919-23 : worn by four different players
1973-75: DB/S Dave Whiteford (Traverse City) - note: 1974 listed as jv
1976-78: K Gregg Willner (Miami Beach, FL)
1977: SE Christopher Grieves (Peoria, MI)
1979-82: WR Anthony Carter (Riviera Beach, FL)
1986-89: WR Greg McMurtry (Brockton, MA)
1990-93: WR Derrick Alexander (Detroit) - was #40 as FR in 89
1994-96: WR Tyrone Butterfield (Miami, FL)
1998-2000: WR David Terrell (Richmond, VA)
2003-04: WR Braylon Edwards (Detroit) - was #80 as FR/SO in 01/02
YEARS WORN: 31
YEARS NOT WORN (since 1919): 64
YEARS WORN BY WR: 21
FIRST WR TO WEAR #1: Christopher Grieves, a converted JV placekicker

the two names being the Christian names of the two head coaches framed around the RR era is always the part I feel that gets overlooked in the perfection of the name Lloyd Brady.

I always thought Fast then Slow was more visually striking. We would chant "Slow It Down" as it was flying around. Imho, the Slow takes so long that the Wave tends to die out on its third trip around, robbing it of its ability to get to Fast or even Reverse and definitely not Split. I can't remember the last time I saw it split and make it all the way back. Probably will happen Saturday.
Apparently in a quick turnaround around my final season (99) and your first (00), it switched to what I saw against CMU last week. Strangely, a couple years ago, it reverted to Fast first then Slow for half a year.
Any other 80s or 90s students remember the same as me? Or have I put myself under delusion?
|43 weeks 2 days ago||True||
Right after that play, I turned to my friend who attended with me, commenting what shade of purple would have achieved if Rees had done that.
|43 weeks 2 days ago||Long debated||
We late 90s students did Fast first then Slow...the rest the same. Last few tears the Wace rarely gets past slow because it takes too long and people lose I retest. Plus slow looks much cooler after the fast lap.

Bottom 5-8 rows in M sections in nE corner are awful bc there's a walkway in front of you and people are walking it rough all game long. Worst I've had there...otherwise even end zone are okay but so low hard to see other side well.
