The story teller states they had grabbed the items they wished to purchase and then went to the counter to complete the transaction. The story teller gives no details pertaining to the conversation between the people behind the counter and the other people in the store. The story teller does not identify them as being at the counter to complete a transaction. It is left unknown in the story on whether the black people there were at the counter to complete the transaction. Further, it seems that the story teller may not have been aware of what exactly was happening between the 2 other parties. Perhaps they were asking about an item, perhaps just asking advice on something, perhaps just talking shop, perhaps asking for directions, perhaps talking about football, or maybe they were just people that knew the people that worked there.
The money might as well been flushed down a toilet, because that is about the only difference it will truly make when it comes to being Charitable. Don't get me wrong, if one wants to flush their own money down a toilet, that is their right.
Now when it comes to marketing and goodwill, now it's paying for a benefit. One wonders though if Nike even owns the plants in which its shoes are made, and also what the pollution laws are in those countries.

I loved X-Files, and started rewatching some just recently. I had really high hopes for this, and I did read the 1st episode was kinda so so and the second one really picks it up.
But within 20 minutes, they introduce one of the dumbest plot lines in any production ever made that was a serious production. They seriously blamed an alien cover up many decades ago on oil companies. Fkn hilarious.
He looked great this game. Sure it is one game, and it may just be a fluke, but holy crap he looked like a seasoned vet. Great shooter, great ball fakes, great passing.

I did say "plot lines" and not plot. I did not mean to imply that was THE PLOT, just one of the plots. And as one of the plots, it's just bad.
