Gene Wojciechowski did a pretty good piece on Snyder, and his impact on K-State. I can't get the embed to work, so here is the link.
|2 days 3 hours ago||Few Reasons...||
1. They won the conference, time to admit they were the best team in the conference this season.
2. It prevents Ohio State from being embarrassed in a national title game by 3-4 scores.
3. Gives the B1G a fighting chance to look good come bowl season.
4. If it wasn't Michigan in the B1G Champ game I would hope anyone but Ohio would win.

Dr. Hook would probably take out Braxton Miller with a high stick, then have Clarence "Screaming Bufflo" Swamptown scalp a few guys.
As for the media, I'd send Olgie Oglethorpe to the podium and see how things shake out.

What he was able to do with Joe Flacco (SuperBowl Champ) and now Zach Mettinberger, his ability to coach the QB position is far beyond mediocre.
|2 weeks 2 days ago||Cam Cameron?||
Can I make a case for Cam Cameron? First fulfills the meaningless "Michigan Man" requirement the blue hairs require. Second, has shown his offense can translate from NFL to college this year at LSU. Third, has transformed Zach Mettinberger from inconsistant and inaccurate passer to one of best in SEC. Finally, he may be able to retain Mattison since they both coached together in 1992-93 at Michigan EDIT: and again from 2008-10 with the Ravens.

Agree to disagree. I think saying "execution" is all encompassing while saying that it's the "11 on the field" singles out the players and exonerates the coaches.

Urban is laughing because he knows he doesn't have to game plan on the defensive side of the ball.
|2 weeks 2 days ago||Seems like he's ok throwing||
Seems like he's ok throwing players under the bus...
Angelique- "Can you put your finger on what's the issue with the offense?"
Hoke- "I think it is a comination of all 11 guys out there. I think at times we hit on 11 cylinders, at imes it's 10, others it's 9. Seems to be rotating through"
|2 weeks 2 days ago||It's more due to how he||
It's more due to how he continues to throw players under the bus, while acting like the OC is doing his job perfectly. People say he can't call out Al, well why can he call out players then? If he's going to put it on the players, throw Al right in there with them.
|2 weeks 2 days ago||He seems perfectly fine||
He seems perfectly fine calling out the players, so why stop there?
|2 weeks 2 days ago||I've lost faith||
After this exchange I have changed my mind, don't think Hoke is the guy moving forward:
Angelique- "Can you put your finger on what's the issue with the offense?"
Hoke- "I think it is a comination of all11 guys out there. I think at times we hit on 11 cylinders, at imes it's 10, others it's 9. Seems to be rotating through"
NOT A SINGLE MENTION OF COACHING? If I was a player on the team I'd be pretty tired of being thrown under the bus just to protect the OC.
|2 weeks 2 days ago||Not same record||
Florida is 4-7
|2 weeks 2 days ago||I'd say 2014 is Hoke make or||
I'd say 2014 is Hoke make or break year. We all heard that 4 years is benchmark (insert RR sympathy here) and coming off potential 7-5 season and under .500 in conference record anything less than 9 wins and Hoke might be gone.

Here we come!!! I hope we don't get embarrassed next week but don't see any chance of that not happening.
|2 weeks 5 days ago||Hashes||
The hash marks are a main issue. In the NFL it condenses the field and doesn't allow for a lot of runs to a massive open wide side of the field. It's one reason the read option struggles in NFL.

Wasn't Michigan MSU game at Spartan Stadium? Or did I miss something?
|3 weeks 2 days ago||Snowflake...||
I think we are winning in spite of the offensive coaching staff. It seemed when Devin improvised, the team was most successful.
|3 weeks 3 days ago||UCLA OL||
So UCLA has 3 true freshman on the OL and their offense looks 1000x more prepared and multiple than ours. Can't be youth, Jim Mora staff is COACHING!

Think you really forget about De'Veon Smith. He will surely be in the mix as long as he's on campus.

Hey AL DAVIS, is that you risen from the grave?
|6 weeks 14 hours ago||I'm Sorry||
Who were the big physical WR's last season that were breaking jam coverage? Don't think anyone would have called last years OL "rock solid" good yes, but far from great. Also have same running back (along with bigger back in Green) as last year.
|6 weeks 18 hours ago||Poorly worded||
Guess I worded it poorly. I would say 6-3 would be the "filler" teams. Like you said a complete division (32 teams) almost could have been eliminated by not using 5-4 teams.
Finally, good luck on your playoff run, small school playoffs are a lot of fun. D7 Espeically could be interesting with Harbor Beach moving from D8 (Defending State Champs) up to D7 this fall.
|6 weeks 1 day ago||Div 9||
Division 9 is 8-man football. I can't exactly tell you when it started but it is for the uber small schools.
|6 weeks 1 day ago||I thought the same thing, I||
I thought the same thing, I assume that the Fed's would become involved if it can be proven that the guns traveled across state lines, or took place when Hernandez was in Massachusetts and Pouncey in Florida. Also seems like all of this caught Miami GM/Owner off guard and they were scrambling in the locker room.
|6 weeks 1 day ago||Geographics||
It's simple, cost savings you can't expect a school to travel across state (or down from UP) 2-3 times over a playoff run. The cost of buses, food, hotels (on long trips i.e. Marquette) for 80+ kids and coaches can really hurt schools who already are working on small budgets.
|6 weeks 1 day ago||Big difference||
I personally think there is a HUGE difference between "Hometown Pride" and following a local high school team vs following individual minors who are being recruited. I agree it is sketchy for grown adults to follow high school kids twitter/facebook/etc. Going to watch an alma mater or following a school where you live is different.
|6 weeks 1 day ago||Agree||
I would like to see 4-5 divisions this would be simply done by making 6-3 the required minimum record. Too many 5-4 teams make the playoffs. I know it's an opportunity for kids to have playoff games but honestly most of the time those teams are matched up with 8-1 or 9-0 teams and get simply hammered.
|6 weeks 1 day ago||Defending Champions||
Division 1- Detroit Cass Tech
Division 2- Brother Rice
Division 3- Grand Rapids Christian
Division 4- South Christian
Division 5- Portland
Division 6- Ithaca (51 straight wins, ties National Record)
Division 7- Ishpeming
Division 8- Harbor Beach
|6 weeks 1 day ago||Safety||
I actually would go with the safety, even though in the moment most fans would be freaking out. Hypothetically gain 20-30 yards on the punt that you plan on doing anyway.

Not to reveal too much personally but US/Canadian citizen and well aware of Quebec's secession talks. I still don't think you can compare Quebec to Germany or Denmark.
