1 day 15 hours ago	I have to second this.  On	I have to second this.  On price alone, none can compare to ESPN when you get one of the $4 a year magazine deals.  There seems to be enough free info out there on the other sites in terms of searching for rankings and recruits that I don't see a reason to do more than the cheap ESPN.   And I just want to say that 247 is killing it with cool features.  I like scouts tracking of recent commits, but now 247 does that with a better format.  The composite rankings are nice, instead of censoring the name of your competition like Scout does.  And the crystal ball feature is pretty cool too.  Plus they seem to update rankings more and the player leanings with the warmer, warm, cool interest ratings.  Fortunately, all of the above is free so I find myself using their site the most.

In the top 100, the only Michigan kid is Brian Cole and there are only 4 Ohio kids.

1 week 2 days ago	I was never really a	I was never really a basketball fan until I started following this team at the beginning of the season.  I learned a ton about the sport and enjoyed watching the way this team played and the flow of the game.  Once the season was over and with no football to watch I figured I'd check out some fo the NBA playoffs.  I hated it.  The game seemed to be disjointed and had no flow.  It was bring ball up, one guy dribbles for a bit and then chucks up a shot.  It lacked the energy I was accustomed to seeing Michigan play with.  No one was getting offensive rebounds because everyone was running back to play defense and there were 3 defenders around the ball.  There didn't seem to be many plays run and even with the faster shot clock the game actually felt slow.  I tried watching a few other times and then just gave up.
1 week 2 days ago	Why can't Brandon make a deal	Why can't Brandon make a deal with IU and have them flip their UM/MSU games while Michigan and MSU flip their games?  It probably should have been that way in the first place, but maybe the ADs can work something out.  It should work out better for MSU as well because as it is they have ND and Michigan both home/away the same year.  Only reason I coudl see MSU against it is because their one goal in life is the mess up Michigan's schedule and feel like they got one over on Michigan by getting 2 home games in a row.   Edit:  And maybe Brandon likes it because in odd years he can jack up prices more than usual due to the slate of games at home.

1 week 2 days ago	Brandon should reach out to	Brandon should reach out to IU and pay them to switch the locations of their MSU/UM games around so that UM/MSU can do the same.  I think it would work better for both teams.  Right now MSu gets ND, OSU and Michigan on the road all in the same year.  Their fans probably won't care though because just messing with MIchigan by getting 2 home games in a row is like Christmas to them.
1 week 2 days ago	Would be better for MSU to	Would be better for MSU to switch the Michigan game too, they get OSU as home in the same year as MIchigan at home.  Looks like the basis for the set up was that OSU, Michigan, and PSU each play one home and one away game against the other two.  Can't say I blame that methodology but Michigan's schedule got screwed.

1 week 3 days ago	I'm not putting them at the	I'm not putting them at the same level.  But if they are recruiting well at MSU's level then that's another tier of recruits that MSU loses out on, may actually hurt them even more than the other 3 recruiting well.
1 week 3 days ago	Very interesting the way OSU	Very interesting the way OSU has all local kids so far while almost half of Michigan's commits are from outside the B1G footprint.  I'm sure OSU will get their national commits, but maybe Meyer shifted his strategy to focus a bit more locally.  And it seems that Fitzgerald got Meyer's message to step up his recruiting game.  If OSU, ND, UM, and NU are all recruiting at a high level, it's going to be really tough for MSU to capitalize on their recent success and get top players from the area.

1 week 6 days ago	Doesn't necessarily surprise	Doesn't necessarily surprise me considering the early playing time you can offer along with the fact that by the time these kids get to campus there will only be 2 years left of bowl ban so they can still go to a couple of bowls.  Now if they start to suck this year and next it could be a rough road, but there will always be Pennsylvania kids who want to go to PSU to make up at least part of the class.

2 weeks 1 day ago	From everything the coaches	From everything the coaches have said, the difference between backup and starter among the front 7 may be only where they are listed on the depth chart.  Hoke and Mattison have said they want to rotate heavily to the point where the players on the 2 deep get close to equal carries.  That's the reason a player like Pipkins is the backup NT rather than the starting 3 tech.
