Hold on. If you have leftover milk, the proper technique is to refill the bowl with cereal one time. If there still remains additional milk, then drink it out of the bowl. However, never should there be a circumstance where the amount of cereal you put into the bowl is directed by the amount of milk you have previously poured into said bowl. Such an act is on par with treason.
What about the milk? I mean skim is great if you're watching your figure, but everything tastes better with whole milk. And if cow milk gives you the bubbleguts, gotta go with cashew milk.
I think Brian calling the refs "Space Dumbasses" on the podcast should definitely have made TWIS. Priceless. There's no worse dumbass than a space dumbass.
Excellent use of "couldn't care less." Finally someone who understands the difference between could and couldn't. You have appeased many OCD lurkers. Bravo.
Aww, I love how you finished your post with an "x". Just like how my real mom finishes every text with "x". Mom? Is that you? I feel better now. Thx xoxo.
Announcers just reported that Muschamp thinks Blake Countess is the best player on the Auburn defense... I mean, he was pretty good a few years ago for us but, best player on their defense? That's sayin something about Auburn's defense.
In Birmingham the best beers are from Cahaba Brewing Co and Avondale, in my opinion. Good People is ok but doesn't compare to the other two. Cahaba's Oka Uba IPA is fantastic and you really need to give it a try. Neighborhood Hops and Vine in Crestline Park next to Saws Juke Joint usually has it on tap as well as a good variety of other local and southern beers, definitely recommend getting a growler or three while there. Also, Hop City on 3rd Ave S has something like 60 craft brews on tap and is a fantastic place to try a wide variety. Man I miss Bham. The Wiregrass is severely lacking a beer scene.
I went to an Alabama alumni event on Tuesday and heard a former WR talk about Derrick Henry's work ethic and approach to conditioning. The guy is a machine and a workaholic. I wish Deveon could spend a day with him and see what it means to really be a Boss.
Had them 2-3 times per month from age 5-18 when I lived in metro Detroit. Tapered off a little when I went to college (Miami (NTM)), had a few when I was back in Ann Arbor, then went away completely when I moved to Alabama. Haven't had one in years. Moral of the story, move to SEC country... Profit?
I have to admit, after moving to the south, Pop is probably the one word I have learned not to say unless I want to get really strange looks from anyone within earshot, quickly followed by a comment like "Where you from, son?"
We have certainly been recruiting well the past few years, even coming close on several players who ultimately chose Bama in the end. I'll never forget the feeling when we (briefly) reeled in Dee Hart (yes, I know previous regime, but still kind of a big deal at the time) and had a fighting chance with Hand, among others. This hire could be a game changer for us in the recruiting arena, in addition to what hopefully happens on the field. Our entire offensive unit has to be as giddy as this board is right now. 2014 w00000000t!!!!1!!1!!!
Seems like ever since I started lurking round these parts in about 2006 things started unravelling. I'm starting to think its me. Sorry guys. Wish I could quit but mgoblog is a helluva drug.
Thanks so much to all the MgoStaff for all their work and insight. Y'all truly make each week and this brutal season tolerable/enjoyable. Brian, your prose is second to none. Keep up the good work and may the new year bring peace and joy to the MgoCommunity. And aside from everything that happened prior to April 6, the year 2013 can go fuck itself.
I left the 2005 Penn State game at halftime to go study. What a mistake. Not only did I not get to see that classic Henne to Manningham game winner in person, I also didn't get any work done watching the game on TV. In retrospect, I learned a lot that day. Never give up on the Team.
