I didn't come to complain I came to ask if I was the only one who'd downgraded him from must read to nausea inducing.  I click the link, start reading and honestly get pissed off that the old Bill Simmons is dead.  If it's just me that's fine I actually appreciate the feedback.

I used to love his columns, especially his NFL columns.  I can barely read his stuff anymore.  It's hard to credibly reflect the working class underdog fan when you are sitting courtside at the Finals, chumming around with the former chairman of Disney on your podcast, or talking about your daughter's private school crush on Slash's kid.  Maybe it's just me.  

I miss the old Bill Simmons, the new one is talented and successful but a complete douche.

The truth is, the anger I feel toward Carmelo is really anger that should be directed at owner James Dolan. If ‘Melo is Paulie, then Dolan, to continue the Godfather analogy, is basically Fredo, if Fredo were twice as stupid and three times as jumpy. When Fredo panicked, all he did was fumble the gun, sit down, and cry. Dolan would’ve accidentally fired it, hitting his father another couple of times in the back, before running away and hiding.
