Check out the Buckhorn Exchange, Denver’s oldest restaurant that serves up gamey food...pricey but not your average restaurant. Also took in a Rockies game. Also took a trek through some mountains. Also hit up a dispensary. Colorado is fun. I try to have the mentality that I’ll never be back so I try to think of it as a vacation just as much as a work trip.

We have the cleanest of coaches in an era where scandals are getting uncovered left and right and integrity is a lost art. We got completely jobbed against Louisville who was coached by one of the slimiest, most crooked coaches ever to disgrace the college or professional game. We have the perfect blend of talent. Having even ONE athlete like Matthews really helps. I would love to have one or two more guys with his physical tools each year. Moe embodies everything I love about college basketball. I’ve loved Duncan. I’ve hated Duncan. I’ve fallen back in love with Duncan. Z has made losing Walton not be the nightmare we all feared it could become. MAAR is one of the craftiest ballers to wear maize and blue in recent memory. I am so confident when the ball is in his hands in late game situations. Livers has been a great teammate being an afterthought on offense as a starter and has continued to earn that honor with his effort in both ends of the floor. Teske also makes me excited for the future. The show is over for Cinderella Saturday night. Let’s face it. It’s been a fairly favorable road to get to where we are. Our team will not be just another victim. Loyola is not playing in the finals. We are. From there the team has to go out and earn it against a higher seeded opponent. I’ll take Beilein versus whoever is on the sideline opposite coach on Monday night. Go Blue!

The only time I really was anxious was when we were down with one possession to go. Burke’s shot was a gift from the basketball gods that I certainly did not expect especially against a team like KU.

It has to be Burke. Though I will say, both moments were ultra highs as a Michigan fan. My hot take here is that Freshman Poole is actually better than Freshman Burke. The kid has been hitting big time shots all year.
