I remember. I had the flu and was sick as a dog that day, and yet it was still one of the happiest days of my life.

Maybe Dave Brandon made him a pizza and he now has indigestion?

Correct. Just like we have gone over and established that the economy crash is PROBABLY not Brandon's fault.

I thought he was not epilectic; my understanding was that he had kidney cancer that is in remission (?) and seizures are a side effect of the medication he is currently taking as a result of the cancer (or something of that nature).

Can you at least summarize his reasoning for those of us who don't use $10 a month as toilet paper?

Nobody would ever do that!

I'm guessing you don't have kids?
True, life goes on but Carr getting involved is arbitrary at this point. He isn't on the AD staff so why would he go out of his way given his current circumstances?
|1 day 11 hours ago||Couple things: 1) Did Jeff||
1) Did Jeff Long hire Petrino? If so, that's a good sign that he is able to coax an NFL coach to a college program (without him being fired first).
As an aside- the fact that Long is in the SEC now may mean that he would be open to hiring a GUY from the SEC (like Mullen) instead of someone who thinks Michigan is too moral to hire an SEC coach.
2) Given the diagnosis of Lloyd Carr's grandson, that alone would be enough to indicate that he is not interested in tampering with Michigan's affairs. He has more important things to worry about.

Well yeah. I can't really argue. Mainly because I think that our coaching staff is the 3 stooges compared to MSU's coaching staff.

Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't FEI take into account that teams "stop trying" when they are winning in a blowout?

Or possibly by his teammates. Or possibly by his own psyche. The world will never know.

Agreed. It is hard to feel schadenfreude for a team whom you are kinda jealous of.

Funny. I almost wrote the same thing about your comments but I already used that expression once this week so I refrained.

Okay... well then maybe they shouldn't bother watching game film either?
|4 days 9 hours ago||That's the problem. There||
That's the problem. There isn't ONE thing that Hoke is doing that is causing all the terribleness. He just isn't very good at coaching, and the headset thing is a silly gimmick that happens to be a symptom of that.
|5 days 2 hours ago||I always turn it on for "just||
I always turn it on for "just a few minutes" for some nostalgia and I will suddenly realize an hour has gone by. He had a way of drawing you in like no one else. His clever descriptions made his broadcasts very entertaining. Obviously I was not alive when he was around but sometimes I find myself wishing he was still here to call certain games (can you imagine Ufer calling Braylonfest?)
|5 days 11 hours ago||Depending on how the 49ers||
Depending on how the 49ers do, the timing of the AD turnover may turn out to be a positive. Michigan may not even get a chance to talk to Harbaugh until mid to late January if he goes deep in the playoffs, which could make a conventional transition from Hoke being fired in late November a little awkward. If Hoke keeps his job until a new AD is hired in, say, mid December or early January the time line may set up well.

Thanks for defining the straw man argument.

Do I have any evidence to support the idea that all human beings are born with different DNA that gives everyone varying body types and physical abilities? I don't know let me do some research.
|6 days 3 hours ago||The problem is, people put||
The problem is, people put way too much stock into the idea that a coach can "turn a guy into an NBA player." BBall players are either NBA caliber or they're not. The impact that their college coach has on that is minimal. This is true also in football but maybe not to the same extreme.

Sounds *ALMOST* like 2014 Michigan football, except they don't have the basketball-Brady-Hoke equivalent as their head coach.
