Considering he has two lines of thought that are both equally outrageous: 1 that because he is at Notre Dame, he is clearly superior to his professor's Big Ten students and 2 that the football players are somehow in the same situation he was in, then yes, it is bad to feel sorry for him.

You make me remember what it was like to be 19 again. I have two toddlers jumping around on the couch while I listen.

This is huge news. That there are still people who listen to Colin Cowherd and take what he says seriously.

The thing about Meyer's offense is it usually relies on one or two elite (read: freak) athletes who workhorse the vast majority of the offense on their shoulders. It has been this way for the majority of his career. At Florida when it wasn't Tim Tebow it was Percy Harvin and at osu it has been primarily Miller and Hyde. I'm not saying they're going to suck but the offense seems to take a step back from elite when they don't have the workhorses.

Twice. Beating ND in 2006 (remember all the crap we had to take that offseason? That was sweet vindication right there) and beating ND in 2011- the latter is because the game was literally <24 hours after my son was born and I was going on like one hour of sleep in the last two days (FTR before you kill me MgoBrewMom, my wife INSISTED I go).
Strangely, I care far less about ND than our other two rivals in terms of "hate."

Bolden is a beast. Ryan is a beast. Peppers is a beast. Lewis is a beast.
Let's face it, Willie Henry is a beast. Frank Clark is also a beast. From what some are saying, Pipkins is a beast. Maurice Hurst Jr.- beast.
You can't have all your starters be outright beasts. It just doesn't happen that often. It doesn't mean he is going to suck though.

Yeah but they need to protect the student athlete.

I suppose as a bonus you could also throw in James Ross being out of the osu game last year (correct me if I'm wrong but was Desmond Morgan held out too?) The injuries to our front 7 were probably the difference in that game.

Blake Countess, Troy Woolfolk, Jake Ryan, Chad Henne, Denard Robinson, Ondre Pipkins, Mike Hart, Jake Long. I'm sure I missed someone in there. While each of those guys had varying levels of importance, we have had so many seasons ruined by injuries to key players in the last decade so we all know how it feels.

I find it rather amusing that these guys always feel the need to add their own little bit in there "big blow for that team"

I wish people didn't feel the need to be such a douche about things like that. It is hard to put yourself out there publicly and provide a free service only to have people write shit like "you suck" on message boards. Assuming TIMMMAAY is not your real name maybe you should put your own picture and real name on here if you're gonna say that kind of stuff.
Personally, yeah I tended to skip over anything he wrote because I didn't find it very interesting but what good does trashing him do?
Sounds to me like you're still bitter about the Da'shawn Hand thing.

|3 days 23 hours ago||You'd be surprised. I have||
You'd be surprised. I have read a lot of message board posts (and main page posts) on various OSU blogs that would make you think the overwhelming majority of their fans never saw a single game coached by John Cooper. One staff writer even wrote something like (paraphrasing) "I never saw an OSU game until 2002, I honestly couldn't tell you anything about them in the 1990's."
And the overall tone of the comments in general makes you think that most of them have no idea it was only a little over 10 seasons ago that Michigan was coming off a 10-2-1 run against them. No, OSU dominating Michigan like this is not "business as usual" despite what most of their fans seem to think.

I know Navarre seems like a no-brainer for a guy who is 6'6" but after reading this he sounds a lot more like David Cone.
|3 days 23 hours ago||Assuming Miller's shoulder is||
Assuming Miller's shoulder is so hurt that he cannot throw at all for the next 4 months, there is still a very real possibility that Meyer will utilize him the way Borges utilized the Denard/Gardner duo when Denard hurt his throwing arm. The difference is, I think Meyer will have a little more creativity than "let's take Devin out of the game and put in Denard to run so that everyone knows what's coming."

I have found the science blog From Quarks to Quasars to be a fascinating read.
Here is one particularly interesting story:
"Big Ear would scan whatever section of sky it happened to be pointed it. Because of this, Big Ear could only observe a section of sky for 72 seconds. Assuming there was a constant signal being transmitted by an alien race, for you first 36 seconds we’d expect to see the signal increase in strength, and for the next 36 seconds we’d expect to see it decrease. The graph that is created by the Wow! signal is pretty much exactly what we would expect to see from extaterestrial communication."
Equally fascinating stuff on a daily basis over there.

Sure, Ohio State’s Heisman Trophy-hopeful could be sidelined for the season, but I’d rather watch Cardale Jones or JT Barrett than Devin Gardner.
I know I know, I'm starting to obsess with 11 Warriors. But this is pure gold.
